I can’t give any of this author’s books less than five stars, since they are all works of genius and gift us with knowledge previously unknown to us. Barbara has access to higher realms owing to her close contact with the Pleiadians, whom she terms “the P’s”. She states that she has had “an on-and-off dialogue with beings from the Pleiades” since she was four months old.
Since the knowledge relayed to us in this book is so advanced, it, like the others, is no easy read and demands the reader’s full attention.
The book describes the nine dimensions to which we humans potentially have access by means of various energetic techniques. A chapter is devoted to each dimension. Barbara’s husband, Gerry, provides a unique meditation at the beginning of each chapter as well as authoring the final chapter which contains various exercises and meditations.
First, I would explain that the first dimension “located in the center of Earth is the Source of grounding ourselves”, the second dimension is below Earth’s surface, the third is “our solid world” and the fourth is “the realm of our collective mind”.
The fifth dimension is “a realm of light that centers in the human heart”. The sixth dimension is “the realm of geometric forms that replicate as plants, animals, humans and material objects in 3D”. E.g. the idea of “Cow” exists in 6D, and then many cows replicate in 3D”. The seventh dimension is “a realm of cosmic sound that generates the 6D geometric forms by vibrational resonance”. The eighth dimension is “the realm of the Divine mind –Light – that manifests through the visible light spectrum in 3D”. The ninth dimension “emanates out of the black hole in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy”.
To revert to 1D, this is the iron core crystal in the centre of the Earth. Barbara says that we can imagine 1D as the beginning of all manifestation. There are in fact many more dimensions than the nine described in the book: e.g. the vertical axis “which connects all nine dimensions, is the tenth dimension. According to the “P’s”, there are 26 dimensions in all.
Re 2D, the Keepers of this dimension are the elementals – “radioactive, chemical, mineral, viral and bacterial intelligences” – millions of workers who maintain this dimension.
Re 3D, we humans are its Keepers. 3D is the zone where the physical and nonphysical dimensions intersect. We’re informed of the value of creating an altar where we sit with our back to the West, facing the East, with North to our left and South to our right. When meditating with this physical orientation, we will have the opportunity of becoming aware of the spirits. Those coming to us from the East give us creative guidance for the day, those energies coming from the West show us what we need to transform and perhaps discard, those from the North inspire us to seek the most challenging outcome of the day, and those coming from the South want to support and nurture us. The fifth direction is straight down into Earth, which provides us with unlimited powers and strength, while the sixth is the vertical axis into the sky to all the higher worlds. The seventh direction is our heart, our centre.
Re 2D, this “holds the memory of human events throughout time”. Its Keepers are the Annunaki, “a race of divine beings”. 4D is the first non-physical yet “emotionally detectable” dimension. Barbara states that it seems to be a world “filled with great gods and goddesses, angels and demons, and dragons and kings”. (I must say I find it hard to relate to her definition of this dimension. When I was young and read Ouspensky, I understood that the fourth dimension was time; however, now it is said that time does not exist.) Though I can relate to Barbara’s statement that the power in 4D is in our feelings.
Re 5D, the author states that this is light. We can attain enlightenment just by being loving (e.g. Lester Levenson, the founder of the Release Method, where we learn to love ourselves and all others –my comment). 6D holds the forms of 3D, 7D “awakens cellular memory by sound”, 8D is God and 9D “spins out the cycles of time” (whatever that means).
There is also a chapter about crop circles and the nine dimensions. Barbara calls those who create the crop circles “the Circlemakers”. She states that the Circlemakers may be higher dimensional frequencies of the Pleiadians “who are very high-dimensional”.
In conclusion, I found this to be an amazing book well worth reading, if you have time to devote yourself to digesting this deep material. Highly recommended!
P.S. In the chapter about the ninth dimension, Barbara explains to us the nature of black holes, She presents a theory that when matter is sucked into a black hole, it then emerges in a white hole in a new universe. She postulates that in 2012 we are perhaps going to be propelled into a new universe.
Fascinating information about time acceleration is also presented. In 3115 BC the sixth time acceleration started the 5,125 year cycle to culminate in 2012. Humans suddenly felt compelled to build temples and cities. Another time acceleration took place in 1755 at the start of the industrial revolution. The next acceleration began in 1999 with the advent of the Internet and cell phones. In February 2011 time apparently speeded up by twenty times! No wonder we all feel so stressed out!
Now in 2011 Earth’s quarantine in the Universe will end. We will become Homo pacem (shouldn’t that be pacis?) instead of Homo agressus (agressi?). We will all heal ourselves (and many of us are already busy doing so) and will stop killing each other.

This book is not for the spiritual initiate. It is an excellent but demanding read. Each chapter begins with a meditation and then a thorough explanation of the dimension and how it relates to the ones previously and following. The comprehensive picture of Barbara's experience confirmed for me my own understanding in a way I could really relate to. I ended the book more informed and affirmed. I appreciate this book enormously. Thank you for your research and excellent work!

Over Thanksgiving dinner, a guest at the table mentioned this book. It sounded so intriguing, I soon found myself ordering the eBook edition to test out the capabilities of my iPad. It seems to be appropriate material for exploring such relatively new mediums, as the content tends to evoke feelings of awe - as well as incredulity. Although the subject matter can be pretty far out there, scientific and historical examples are provided that appear to back up many of their assertions. And even if it's pure fantasy, the possibilities are still fun to entertain.
This revised and expanded edition was published in the spring with the updated subtitle, “The 2011/2012 Prophecies and Nine Dimensions of Consciousness,” suggesting a sense of urgency with these just-around-the-corner dates. Barbara Hand Clow is no newcomer to the field, having written about the Mayan calendar, crop circles and other mysterious phenomena in previous books, including The Pleiadian Agenda. The explanations are now clearer and the writing better, according to reviews of her earlier works. The authors have received additional information from Earth-bound scientists as well as other worldly beings commonly known as Pleiadians, several of whom Barbara has channeled over the years. Yes, this detail does coax the eyebrow to jump a little further up the brow, but when she discusses her Native American upbringing and just how she learned about multidimensional consciousness, her theories become a little more believable. According to Barbaea, our relationship with the Earth, down to its iron core, plays a vital role in the nature of our existence. Human creations such as music are also more powerful than we may think. One paragraph poetically begins, “Long ago, the ancient ones lived when it was still possible to hear the sounds of the heavens.” The need to cut out the noise of negative media, and to attempt to hear those faraway sounds again will become even more important in the coming years, as we enter what is believed to be a dramatic new stage in our spiritual evolution.

A true game changer, I love this book with a passion for providing a kind of road map through the dimensions that has already expanded what I already know experientially; it honestly grounded and ignited so much for me that I relished it utterly, page after highlighted page. Practical too and what the oft ignore 'lower dimension' chapters did to help me understand some of the challenges I have had being an earth-bound human being was worth the books weight in gold. It says a lot that I immediately want to go back and read it all again. Recommended!

By her own description, Barbara dialogued with beings from the Pleiades “the P’s”, since four months of age. Even though I did not read this book until 6 years after its original publication, the insights remain relevant.

3rd dimension - 3D world where physical/nonphysical dimensions intersect

The time acceleration starting in 1755 saw the industrial revolution and the formation of the American experiment in democracy. The 1999 acceleration brought the advent of the Internet and cell phones. In February 2011 time speeded up by 20 times! This acceleration of information uploading has stressed us out.
Gaia’s quarantine ended in 2012. We have begun a new 5,125 year cycle but with compassion and love as the guiding light. We can all heal ourselves. The majority are still caught up in the duality this speedup. A few and more each day are “being the change they want to see”. As the majority become more conscious, we will stop killing each other.

Wow! This book made me think and took me back to my years of studying philosophy in college. It wasn't an easy read because it forced you to re-evaluate the belief constructs most people were ingrained within through religion and societal expectations. I love an intellectual read, even if it does take me forever to finish it!

This book really opened my mind and heart. Honestly I had to read it slowly and twice to completely absorb all it contains. It is a beautifully written work.

The book begins nicely explaining 9 dimensions in a different way. But the author gets carried away by scientific jargon to justify and explain multidimensionality which is really unnecessary and the book drags on. Lost all interest after 20% of the book.

What a trippy book. Listened to this in my car and it's not recommended to follow precisely the opening meditations on the road....
Interesting concepts. I enjoyed the perspective of a vertical scale for the 9 dimensions stemming from the Earth's center to a black hole. First time reading a "new age" type book.

Loved this book! From the meditations to the physics to the spiritual; everything is expressed in away that most people will understand, and if they don't, a quick re-read of a page or paragraph here and there clarifies the information. A must read for those who are interested in their existence and a great read for those sceptics :)

This book was a bit too whoo-whoo for me (which is saying a lot). The author has a great deal of information and most of it was over my head. I still liked having it wash over me as I listened.

Very good although some of the information given was a distinct dissonance with my energy, especially that of Gerry and the meditations.

Fluffy New Age weirdness. Not that I expected anything different, but this is just incomprehensible. Abandoned at 21%, not sure whether I'll give it another try.

I read this book because I was curious about how many dimensions there were and what they were like.
