Здається, я до біса її кохаю. (буквально через день як вони познайомились. Як бляха?!)

Хантер завжди був порядним хлопцем, і я йому довіряю, але це не заважає мені ховати Холлі за собою, щоб він її не побачив. Він же чоловік, врешті-решт.(той шо шо він чоловік? ви ж не печерні люди, альо!)

Але вони чудово підходять для того, шоб просто розслабитись 😁

Я розумію, що в таких новелах усе розвивається швидко, але тут надто швидко. На третій день знайомства сказати «кохаю», це занадто.


Максимально не реалістична історія, 3 зірки лише за атмосферу і легке читання.

Але ідея дуже гарна і я думаю, що можна було б розтягнути на книгу побільше.

якщо відкинути їхні пригоди за закритими дверима, то начебто й нічого така новела. святковий настрій відчувається, багато різдвяних деталей і описів. також їхні стосунки розгорталися хоч і дуже стрімко, але мило.

не сподобалася драма, яка була для того, щоб бути. ну і як вони за один день прожили все те, що інші пари проживають протягом років 5-10?

2.75 ⭐️ This was too instalove, even for me.

I know this was supposed to be a short, Christmas novella... but it was way too fast! Four days? Come on!

She was one of the most unrealistic fmcs I've read in a while. She immediately trusted the strange man who had broken into her Airbnb while she was naked. Right, completely plausible and sensible thinking. Also, she's a v¡rgin, and when she tells the MMC right when they're going to be intimate for the first time, he kind of implies that he is one too, even though it's never mentioned before or after, and he knew what to do to make her finish multiple times... Again, my suspension of disbelief only goes so far without this turning into a fantasy romance.

There's a pretty huge age gap between MCs as well, even if the mmc's age is never explicitly revealed. She's 23 - it's said that he was first a chef in NYC, and then he was pressured by his family to pursue a career in finance... which he abandoned after a few years of success and moved to live alone in the mountains, where he's been for the last decade. So, he's got to be at least 40, right? Idk, but age gaps like that bother me. In general, this novella wasn't horrible, but I don't think I'd reread it.

Christmas is Magical

Holly goes to frozen peak to live in a cabin for a week during Christmas. She usually spends it with her parents in Florida but they won a trip.

Holly actually rented the cabin from Erik. Also known as the Grinch. These two have such chemistry. They share all their firsts with each other and live happily ever after.

Erik and Holly . . .

Holly decides to rent a cabin at Frozen Peak during Christmas so she can put some time in on her writing. Erik comes by to meet his renter and hears a scream. Rushing in, he finds Holly naked in the shower when the water came out too cold and startled the scream out of her. From the start, these two are heading toward an adventure together. He takes her to dinner and they both feel comfortable with each other. And when she rushes to the hospital where he has been taken after an accident, he realizes what she means to him. Will he try to convince her they belong together? Will she be willing to stay and make a life with him?

This was an enjoyable story where a lonely mountain man finally seems to have found his other half. But will Holly have plans of her own? Grab your copy and find out if there is a HEA for the two of them.

I’ve been reading my way through the Frozen Peak series to cleanse my mind between bigger books. I just finished the newest that dropped today that wraps up the series. I really enjoyed all of these books! They get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

Each book features an older grumpy mountain man and the younger woman that melts their heart!

While each book is a standalone, the characters are featured in the other books. It’s a small town on a mountain, everyone knows everyone lol. I recommend reading them in publication order!

I absolutely LOVE this novella. There is just something about a cabin setting with a grumpy MMC that makes me so happy. They were so cute together and the story was great.

I really loved that they were both virgins. I’m use to the FMC being one but when the man is in his mid 30s and is a virgin it just makes the story that much better. The story takes place in the span of 3 days and by the 3rd day he’s proposing which is wild but at the same time it’s so simple where they live and I think she would be the perfect partner for him there. I love the epilogue!! They had a daughter named Mia and she is 4 and she’s pregnant again with a son 🥹 I just loved this couple so much. I can’t wait to read Hunter’s story.

Um Homem Da Montanha De Natal

Ah, eu amo histórias natalinas. E estou amando os livros da Clara King, então nem preciso dizer como esse livro aqui foi uma combinação perfeita, né?! Holly e Erik formam aquele casal estilo Hallmark - só que para maiores de 18, hehe. Eu amei demais e agora estou aqui com a música "All I Want For Christmas" na cabeça. Na verdade, estou escrevendo essa resenha ao som dessa música, porque fiquei com a maior vontade de ouvi-la quando terminei de ler o livro, alguns minutos atrás. O epílogo com essa música foi perfeitinho!!!! Ah, eu amei e já entrou na minha lista de favoritos. Super-Hiper-Ultra-Mega-Power recomendado!

I started this series a few months back and with book 4, so I’m finally going back to the beginning! I honestly can’t get of these books. They’re sweet, addicting and draw you in right away and you can’t put it down!
Holly and Erik’s story was the perfect holiday romance! Her parents win a trip on a cruise and instead of staying home by herself in Florida, Holly heads to Frozen Peaks! On her first night there she gets a very unexpected visitor- a very big and handsome mountain man- walks in on her in the shower! And the sparks fly! They have an immediate connection, and soon they’re connecting with each other and really enjoying their time together. And neither want it to end.
This was a short, quick, age gap romance with just the right amount of spice! And the snowy mountain setting was perfect!

I absolutely loved A Mountain Man for Christmas Book 1 of Frozen Peak and I know I. Going to love this series. Holly rented a snowy cabin in Colorado foe Christmas as her parents were in a cruise. She wasn’t expecting to fall foe the grumpy owner but she did and she knows she’s leaving soon and it’s going to break her head. Erik knows Holly is the girl fie him. It now he has a decision to make about their future. Can he convince her to stay and what if she won’t? Such a great storyline and lovable characters. I loved this story and I can’t wait fie more in the series. I can’t wait to read Hunters story. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is book number 1 of the Frozen Peak series and focuses on Erik and Holly. When Holly's family goes on a cruise for Christmas, she decides to rent a cabin in Frozen Peak and work on her writing. When she gets there she meets Erik, the owner of the cabin, sparks fly immediately. They both have an instant connection and both feel like they've known each other forever. It doesn't take long for both of them to fall head over heels in love with each other. This was a great story and a great introduction to the series! I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Erik moved to the mountains for the quiet. He uses he extra cabin for extra cash. He usually leaves his guest alone, but when he sees Holly, he needs to know more.

Holly loves Christmas, but when her mom won a Christmas cruise, she could not let her parent not go. Holly decided to book a cabin in the mountains help her to experience the winter and hopefully help with her book.

This is a fast read the is hot and steamy from the moment Erik crashes into the cabin. Holly and Erik have an electric chemistry that will heat up her holidays. Great story to get lost in by the fire.

Holly gets out of town from sunny Florida to the mountains in Colorado. She got an air BNB but the guy she got it from only ever gave one word answers via text. That's ok she's going to make the most of it. Writing her book is why she's out her in the quietness of the mountain. After arriving she gets into the cozy cabin. Hopefully one day shell get to meet the owner. Deciding to take a shower and lets a blood curling scream.
I saw her move in and never wanting to make small talk Erik decided to go to her cabin and say Hi. Getting ready to knock he hears an awful scream. He barges in to help but only finds her in the shower naked. She tells him the water was do cold it shocked her. After covering herself up, Erik turns to leave when Holly asks him to stay. Erik wants to stay too. They talk by the fire and have a nice time but he decides its time to leave.
They next day they see each at the grocery store and Erik asks her to dinner. She accepts and when she shows up, she takes his breathe away. They talk some more during dinner and she finds out that he was a chef in New York but left it all behind and moved to the mountain. One thing leads to another and they end up kissing and one thing leads to another. Even though she is due to leave in a few days neither want to leave each other. Their connection is pretty good.
Erik goes out to get her a gift but gets into an accident when his friend Hunter goes to get Holly to take her to the hospital. On her way there she realizes she loves him. She needs to tell him. After Erik is discharged they go back to the cabin where he gives her her Christmas present. Her answer is yes. She is more then thrilled to be together with him for the rest of her life. When she tells her parents they were surprised but happy she was happy.
She made the man of her life turned around from being a loner to being a person who know likes the holiday and being around people.

Inst-love. Oh, how much I don’t like this trope! I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed how both Erik and Holly cared for each other. I also like that both Erik and Holly were virgins. I like that they had that in common. But, the trope, the Inst-love trope in this story didn’t work for me. It was too fast. Most books with the Inst-love story don't work for me. There’s very, very, very few books that I have read with the trope and I enjoyed it. But this one, nope. 2.5 stars.

This is the first book by Clara that I have read. I enjoyed this past paced, mountain man, holiday read. Holly normally spends the holiday with her parents. But they won a trip so she is on her own this year. She rents a cabin. She never expected to run into a handsome mountain man. Erik feels drawn to check on and introduce himself to Holly. He has never done that with his other guests. The two hit it off and things progress quickly. This book does go from zero to hundred so be prepared. Also, if that isn’t your thing you may want to skip this book. I liked the characters banter with each other and look forward to reading other books in this series. Wonderful job Clara.

This was sweet. Holly rents a vacation cabin from Erik, who lives nearby. They meet when he comes to say hi and bursts in on her when he hears a scream. Their romance is sweet and a little awkward. They open up to each other and we learn a little more about Erik. I was a bit confused about how he used to be a chef, but then his money was made from a finance background. Other than that inconsistency, the book was good. Also, I learned a new word. I had never heard or read the word gelid before.

No joke, I literally smiled while reading this book. It was just a warm and fuzzy insta love, age gap, opposites attract romance. Highly predictable and yet still enchanting, its a good one to cozy up with a hot cocoa and just enjoy the experience. Lovable characters, perfect scenery, and hopefully we will get a chance to read about the mysterious neighbor up the mountain soon.

After an embarrassing face to face meeting, things progress fairly fast. I liked both of them and thought they complimented each other well. Eric hadn't realized how lonely he had become before she came along. Their story is about falling hard and fast. I felt that overall it's low on drama with plenty of sweetness and heat

An insta love short read.

A great short read. Frozen Peak is where this story is set, with a writer and a mountain man. Holly is alone for Christmas as her parents go on their cruise that was won in a competition, Erik is the owner of the cabin and alone after his family deserted him for quitting his job. Only good things wait for them as Christmas day looms. Loved both the characters. A great insta love book. Can't wait to read about hunter.

Insta love an Christmas

A very quick Christmas story that had sweet characters who fell in love immediately.
After two days they proclaimed their love for each other and were engaged. That seemed just too fast and unrealistic, had it been a bit longer in length their could have been a bit more to the story, but that said there a and anything g else I disliked overall is probably read another in the series if I had an hour to read a quickie.
