Kaiser was the late, great music critic of Germany.
This book reviews the style and recordings of 23 famous pianists.
It was published in 1965, so the “young pianists” like Gould and Gulda
Are already gone. However, the descriptions of the styles and strengths and
Weakness of these pianists still makes for good reading.
