The beginning really kept me from enjoying it and diving in. Although he had a lot of great things to say… I just couldn’t get into it or had more questions or didn’t like what he had to say. Very wise man and if I was in his position idk how I would’ve responded to some of these questions (some I have been presented with in the past), but nevertheless it just left me wanting. The last couple of chapters saved the book and emphasized Gods love and how amazing He continues to be, but eh. Nothing I’d write home about.

Great read! It's conversational, not overly complicated in its philosophical or apologetic language. He speaks frankly and builds the case, in my opinion, logically for these agnostic/atheist/spiritually struggling intelligent individuals with the questions all of us think abt but may not ask out loud! Well worth my time to read and want to read it again because it was fascinating and also challenging to keep me going to the next chapter

Well written and thought provoking. Definitely worth a go through Christian or not or if you’d like answers to questions like: absolute morality, God’s existence, Love vs evil, why can’t God just kill the devil etc. check it out for yourself.

I have/had so many questions. Plausible answers. I think about the answers as I go about my daily life and ask “but why?”
