He is a mangaka from Tokyo, Japan. He debuted in October 2001 with Nandodemo Roku Gatsu Jū San Hi, and also wrote for the magazine Square Freeze and Love Love Santa, published in November 2001 and in February 2002 respectively. He later moved to Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, in wich he won the 7th "Story King" section in the same year.
Yeahhhh it's the war of the best catcher: Monta vs. Ikkyu, and they settle it on the field. But they're still fighting the scariest, best team in the Kanto region, and Agon wants to kick everyone's ass by effortlessly stealing everyone's best moves. I love the secret love diagram thrown in as an interlude--who thinks who's cute and who can't stand each other. Had no idea Sanzo had a crush on so many guys. Hiruma is ridiculously awesome in this one, tricking everyone into thinking he's sending Sena into the game injured to block Agon (and even taking a punch for realism's sake!) only to completely not cover the most important member of the other team. That REALLY pissed Agon off. Hahaha. I love Hiruma and his wily time-control ways. Great how he stopped the clock after every play because he's a strategy master, and how Monta never underestimated his competition.
Eyeshield 21: Time-Out 0 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (188–196) of the on-going manga series.
This tankōbon continues the first round of the Kanto Tournament with Daimon Devil Bats and Shinryuji Naga. Taro "Monta" Raimon overcomes Ikkyu Hosokawa, the cornerback for Shinryuji Naga, and scores a touchdown. However, Sena Kobayakawa's legs are not bearing to blitz Agon Kongo every time. Therefore, Yoichi Hiruma stages a fight between him and Musashi over Sena Kobayakawa's state and in the following play Sena Kobayakawa ignores Agon Kongo to successfully blitz Unsui Kongo.
In the next play, Sena Kobayakawa overcomes Agon Kongo by attacking him when he disdains about their Christmas Bowl dream and scores a touchdown. With five minutes remaining, Ikkyu Hosokawa joins Agon and Unsui Kongo to form a three-quarterback "Golden Dragon Fly" that is unstoppable.
When Unsui Kongo punts the ball, there is only minute left for Deimon's attack that initiates from 97 yards to Shinryuji's line. Deimon advances just a few yards using tactics to stop the clock, like getting the ball outside the field and spiking. Initially they use the rule that any player, except for those on the furthermost line, can move freely to have Manabu Yukimitsu helping to block, but unexpectedly they use it to throw a long pass to Monta.
Although he can surpass Ikkyu Hosokawa, he is still twenty yards to the goal line when he is stopped by Agon Kongo and the time ends. However, Monta reveals his hand was out of the field when he fell. Therefore, there is four seconds left when Yoichi Hiruma asks the audience to scream louder as the Devil Bats still has a chance to score a touchdown and tie the game.
This tankōbon is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. For the most part, I really liked how the story is progressing. The Deimon Devil Bats slowly chipped away the lead that Shinryuji Naga made, which seemed so insurmountable. Just as the reader thinks that Shinryuji Naga has won we learned that the Deimon Devil Bat still have a chance.
All in all, Eyeshield 21: Time-Out 0 is a wonderful continuation to a new series that seems intriguing and I cannot wait to read more.
I love the desperation of the Deimon team, really doing absolutely everything to claw their way even close to winning, actually tying they are barely trying to get even. Monta getting to be the 'main character' for this phase with his catching skills is great, dude has been getting some of the most emotional and exciting moments in the series.
Seperti biasa. Bravo!!! untuk semua aspek yg ada. Jilid ini memberikan salah satu game terbaik dalam serial Eyeshield 21. Wajar karena lawan devil bats adalah juara yang telah mebangun dinasti di turnamen musim gugur ini.
This is truly the best shit ever - the underdogs are becoming the best in their corner of the world, it positively whips. This is what everything has been for!!! You love to see it.
Momen perjuangan mengembalikan keadaan yang epik nih melawan tim yang dilahirkan dewa dan juara 9 kali berturut-turut .Gimbal si Gimbal jenius tapi suka boloss
So here we have the Shinryuuji game wrapping up, with Deimon coming from behind trying to overpower the ridiculously talented and quick Agon. First it's a battle in the air between the two most accomplished receivers in the region--Ikkyu and Monta. Ikkyu may think he's number one, but Monta gives him a run for his money--and what's even more special is that he doesn't underestimate his opponent the way Ikkyu does, and that's what does Ikkyu in. But then Sena's legs aren't holding up the way they should, Agon manages to copy the move he spent weeks perfecting, and the clock is running out with Deimon still behind. If they don't run up from behind to tie the Nagas, Deimon's out and they won't be going to the Christmas Bowl. Good thing they have a devil quarterback who knows how to outsmart the opponent . . . though Agon's known him for a long time and doesn't put anything past him. . . .
I have to say this volume was worth it just to watch Hiruma get punched in the face by his own teammate. I mean, yes, I love Hiruma, but Musashi smashing him in the face and it's all acting because they're pretending to fight over Sena's legs? Hilarious. Especially since at the same time the ruse worked to infuriate Agon when he thought they were sending Sena in injured in the hopes of covering him and then NOBODY COVERED HIM. Nobody cares about you, Agon. Haha. I love the ruse with Yukimitsu, too, how Hiruma put the weakest man on the field to run right up the middle because all Shinryuuji's strong guys were guarding to stop anyone from running out of bounds. But honestly? Even though Hiruma's always my hero, it's Monta who won the day this time with his catching stunts. Who'd have imagined he'd steal them some more time by catching something that ISN'T the ball?
GILA EPIK BANGET. *bacanya aja udah puas banget lol*
TERUS!!!! SATU LAGI!!! Gila itu pas momen SPIKE SPIKE itu lho, bikin deg-degan banget :'))) Dan MONTAAAAAA ASDFGHJKL dia berhasil mengembalikan 4 detik yang akan menjadi titik balik bagi Deimon :"D Subhanallah Monta :""""DDD PROUD OF YOU!
