A complete guide that tackles the basics of theory, practice and pragmatics of psychoanalysis.

Glover's reflections about the therapy fee are insightful (specially considering he hasn't read anything about social theory).

Overall, his approach to many etiological issues are, in my opinion, more complete and structured than those of Freud.
