The cover isn’t bad, but it didn’t capture the flavor of the work.

This story, for those of us older than forty, will see a resemblance to the “Six Million Dollar Man,” and “James Bond.”
The main character Lucas, is injured in an Earthquake in China. He wakes up in a hospital in England. He’s been in a coma for fifteen months, Dr. Williamson proposes to implant PEPUCS, Performance Enhancing Physical Upgrade Components. Lucas agrees since he has no family left and needs to do something with his life.
Enter Marlus and Andrew Passfield. Andrew is sent on an errand to deliver a Mercedes to one of Marlus’ clients. What he doesn’t realize is Marlus wants to take him out because he believes Andrew was responsible for the death of his brother.
Now, one would think that’s a great premise for a story, which it is, but the execution was dismal at best. There is more filler in this story than the law allows and that does nothing to move the plot forward, but places it in quicksand. And, I came across forty grammatical and phraseology issues. All I could think is, did someone really edit this book? In my opinion, if they did the author needs a refund!
EX: “ But then he felt the bus shelter itself trembling.” The word itself is not required at all.
“After a month of living in an agonizingly loud world, he had learnt the technique of…? The word is learned, not learnt.
Note the word is not hardware for programs, that is software. Hardware is the components used to build a computer. Any novice should know that!
There are more, but I’m not going to list them all. Hire an editor and clean this work up. You owe it to yourself and your readers.
In its current state, I can’t recommend this to anyone. My services are available
