Great book! I especially loved the set-up with the falls, the treacherous pathway, the mysterious and brooding hero. The setting and pacing reminded me of the gothic romances that I used to pilfer from my mom growing up-- Phyllis Whitney and Barbara Michaels. Also, I love that the hero, Damien, is talented and sophisticated yet still masculine. So many romances these days have Alpha/thug heroes, he is a breath of fresh air.
