Cool! Really pleased that this ended up being a crime thriller instead of taking the supernatural cop-out. I’m definitely a sucker for anything involving religious cults, and I think I may be becoming a crime-thriller aficionado.

I found this at my mom's house, I think she got it at a book sale or something. I brought it with me on my trip to Europe and read it in some fun places: on beaches in Barcelona and Sitges, in my Paris hotel room whilst recovering from heat exhaustion symptoms, and then finally I finished it on the shuttle to the Paris-Beauvais airport.

It was really good for a mass market paperback thriller, I gotta say! Well-plotted and suspenseful, and I was not expecting the twist at the end. I'm surprised more people haven't read it but I guess there are a lot of books like these. I would definitely read more Donna Ball, whoever she is...

I have read all the Ladybug Farm series by Donna Ball, and was surprised to find out that she also has written numerous crime/mystery books, as well. About as far from Lady Bug Farm as one can get. I was also pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book. I will definitely read more of Donna Ball's mysteries.
