Ian Archibald Beck (born 1947 in Brighton) is an English children's illustrator and author. In addition to his numerous children's books, he is also most famous for his cover illustration on Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album. He has sold more than a million copies of his books worldwide.

This is a cute book with pretty illustrations about what a bee does all day long as it visits its flower friends. Definitely a book to read to wee ones or those who are just learning to read.

My Review: Another book from Munchkin's scholastic order and we are very pleased with it. Munchkin loved the bee and would buzz and point out things he could identify like a flower, another bee and rain. It is a simple book that would be appropriate not only as a picture book but also as book for early readers with simple words and a simple story.

A little bee says hello to the flowers as he flies along, enjoys the the sunshine and rain, and especially rainbows.

The extra large and simple text is good for emerging readers. The illustrations are brightly colored and enchanting, and kids who love flowers and rainbows love this book.
