This whispered to my heart.

Aah god this book was heart-wrenchingly good. There right there somewhere in the center I could feel whispers in my chest and dear heavens is Rogue talented. Read it, I know you'll agree.

3.5 stars, maybe 3.75! I'm still deciding on a rating because I did enjoy this collection a lot but maybe it's because I had just read another collection that connected with me so much and this one didn't as much - some of them did connect with me a lot though- but I can still appreciate the beauty and depth of these poems. I will definitely read more from this author in the future!

Not at all moon related -100/10.

Seriously though, it was okay I guess. It seems evident it was meant to be enjoyed by people who are already fans of hers. Too discordant, though I realize the poems are meant to be seperate and not part of an overall narrative. It just felt kinda hollow to me. Pretty words though I guess.

Although this is short it's raw in a way that other poetry books are afraid of being. All of Rogue's work is like that. Honest, raw, unapologetic.

If it has the words:

1. JR
2. Poetry
3. Rogue ...

mentioned anywhere, it's a sheer DELIGHT. A treat. A heart-wrenching experience.
Poems for the Moon is definitely one of her best works. She's like a fine wine. Better and better every single time.

I will rise & brush
the e ashes from
my knees.
that life was not for me.

I guess that wasn't the right time for me to read this short peotry collection. Not bad but I don't feel the depth of poems.

Not the worst collection of poetry (that’s reserved for Rupi Kaur!), but the majority of these poems lacked depth, emotion, or cohesiveness. I’m not a fan of “Instagram poetry,” which seems to be the vibe that Rogue was going for (in fact, I know it is—her entire Instagram page is filled with one-liners in a typewriter font). Poems For The Moon: Vol. 1 was a handful of random poems slapped together to make a collection, which added a disjointed quality that made it less than extraordinary. I’ll probably forget that I read this.

Romance

While this was short, this book of Romance made me fall right back inlove. Her magic words leave me craving for more so I’m reading her whole series of poetry now!

I felt a warm sensation from within while reading these poems. Beautiful, heartfelt poetry for the universe. Who knew one could hold such emotions and let them mark the pages. There is something to be felt here. And something to take away from here. There is nothing more intriguing, or special, than the poetry in this collection. Love is felt. Love is taken. And somewhere in between is a brave soul embracing both sides of the spectrum.

The poems are poignant with beautiful imagery and language. Many of them spoke about love and relationships, which is not something I personally relate to but I can appreciate the beauty of it. There were a few which I connected to with a platonic relationship and those were more moving for me.

One of the best to heart poetry that I have read in recent times. I could relate to almost all of them.
