This book gives children a chance to see actual creatures that live inside shells. The photos allow them to see the real things and how different and colorful they really are. The text used throughout this book is simple that young children can read it and understand it. I would use this book help students see how many different creatures can live in shells and how different each of them look. It would be a good introduction to learning about creatures that live in or near the ocean.
