Alexis Getty is a flirtatious delivery driver for a package shipping company in Portland, Oregon. Aside from her own sexual exploits - often involving the women she delivers packages to - her world is further complicated with the conquests of her neighbours and friends.
Jaime Clevenger lives with family in Colorado. Most days are spent working as a veterinarian. Writing is a side gig but also a true love. Hobbies include swimming, karate, dreaming about beach vacations, and convincing random strangers to share their life story. Bonus points are given if they include a good romance—whether or not there’s a happy ending.
Really found this quite difficult - sort of failed the credibility test - I guess there are people like this, but really?? Sort of brought the ending, but really...?? Really a 3.5* so rounded up, saved by her haircut.
Well... this book is................ different. Different is a good word to describe it .
It shows a lot of sex scenes (and when I say "a lot", I mean A LOT of sex scenes) and show us Alexis´s the day-to-day in work and in her flirtatious way.
It´s a little bit confusing, because you don´t know where and on WHO you have to focus. The book has no main purpose and when you finish you be like: "ok".
So... if you´re looking for a book with a lot of sex scenes, sexy persons flirting with each other in a very sexy way... well, this book is for you. And little spoiler ahead: So, you've been warned.
Bella After Dark presents... a story of finding what you really want when you don't know what that is... sexual escapades ensue as Alexis tries to live up to her reputation while trying to play it down when she meets the one girl that makes her think there just might be a happily ever after
Talk about the drama that goes on when you are a single lesbian and you are viewed by everyone as being a player, yet you feel the pull of loneliness that you disguise as not wanting a relationship just great sex with no strings attached. That would describe the main character of this story. And yet, at the end Alexis seems to have figured it out and open to opportunities. I enjoyed this story very much. Well done!
