Candy Store by Bella Andre On the verge of losing her candy store, Callie Moore decides to blot out her troubles with a tall, dark, handsome stranger. Tobey Danville isn't about to turn down a cute, curvy blonde who offers sizzling-hot sex in a commercial refrigerator at his best friend's wedding reception. But the next day, when Callie discovers that Tobey is the consultant she has hired to save her store, they find it difficult to concentrate on business. Especially when giving and getting pleasure in each other's arms is so much more fun.
Valentine Wishes by Mlyn Hurn Vicky Vale's come to help her mother with her first ever wedding fashion show. Upon arrival, Vicky finds Valentina's office occupied by a handsome stranger, who seems to be moving in on her mother's company. And who appears more than capable of setting her heart, and her body, aflame.
A resident of Indiana, Mlyn worked as a registered nurse for 23 years in pediatrics. Reading Barbara Cartland and Harlequin romance novels in high school spurred her to start writing. She did technical writing for her employers until she started writing erotica four years ago. Mlyn is single and lives with her cranky cat Georgia, who she named after her favorite artist for inspiration, Georgia O’Keeffe.
I've had some pretty risque looking covers but this is the first cover I've found myself being self-conscious about. Its really good though. Its actually two short stories one by Mlyn Hurn and the other be Bella Andre. The one by Andre is first and its called Candy Shop. Callie Moore has a one night stand in a commercial fridge at a wedding reception and she thought she's never see the guy again. It turns out he's the consultant she has an appointment with the next day to save her struggling business. Together not only do they save her business but they both receive something they've dreamed of. The one by Hurn called Valentine Wishes is about jumping to conclusions and mistaken identities and an assumption or two thrown in. Vicky Vale's mother is a Fashion Designer and she (Vicky) walks into her office thinking she'll find her mother but finds a guy instead who seems to be in charge. They both take offense to each other but eventually learn who each other is by the end of the story its yet another happily ever after on Valentine's Day no less. Both stories were really good and although I haven't looked her up yet I wouldn't mind reading more of Hurn. I know I'll read more Andre.
