Snow White and the Seven Hunks

Rate this book
How bad could it be, Nicole Martin asked herself when she discovered her options were to take the role or face criminal charges with her ‘big’ sister, Brandy? Actually, it didn’t sound nearly as bad as she’d expected once the producer/blackmailer explained. The filming would be done in low light situations. No one would ever get a really good look at her face. And it was just acting anyway, right? They weren’t actually going to do all those things ….

Carnal/erotica-adult situations and language, mild/moderate bdsm, multiple sexual partners, multiple heroes, voyeurism, male and female sibling voyeurism, blindfolded sex, countless ménages through oilrigs and sandwiches, BDSM rack sexual device, spanking, cum shots everywhere, group sex, dick jacking, dick piercing/metal galore, sexual domination, forced seduction, training of a submissive, constant fondling, constant head, constant sex on camera, violence through fights from Doms and Doms in training, and lots of male possessiveness.

The title is misleading but it DOES catch your attention, doesnt it? You MUST check your brain at the door in order to read this.

Nicole's sister embezzled some company money and now they are both blackmailed into starring in a porn film to pay off the debt. It was originally to be called SNOW WHITE AND THE 7 HUNKS but will now be called Snow White, Red Rose, and the 7 Hunks. Nicole quickly attracts the four most overly endowed dudes (of course!)and they get a bit possessive of her, especially the director/actor Hunk.

Normally I would be harsher on this book because it's a mess. It alternates between first and third person narrative which makes the writing seem especially amateurish (even by smutty ebook standards). Plot points are dropped left and right. Character development is not consistent at all. However, I was in the mood for some dumb smut and this hit the spot just fine.

While this has a dubious HEA for Nicole and three of the Hunks, dont forget that this is erotica and has that clinical quality of most eroticas. I didnt find the story all that hawt, if I think about it.

Content warning: anal, group sex, lots of wang metal, sex toys, light BDSM, spanking, and a DP scene where two Hunks at one time is too much for Nicole and they tear her (but she gets off on it anyway)!

WARNING: Carnal/erotica-adult situations and language, mild/moderate bdsm, multiple sexual partners, multiple heroes, voyeurism, male and female sibling voyeurism, blindfolded sex, countless ménages through oilrigs and sandwiches, BDSM rack sexual device, spanking, cum shots everywhere, group sex, dick jacking, dick piercing/metal galore, sexual domination, forced seduction, training of a submissive, constant fondling, constant head, constant sex on camera, violence through fights from Doms and Doms in training, and lots of male possessiveness. After I read this I just had to try this book! Well, I should have known to have left it alone! The reason for the two stars is there was a romance here in spite of the situation going on in the house and the end had a happy ever after.

Nicole’s luck ran out again. This time she ends up in a huge mess with her sister, black mailed into a porn movie. Yep, she gets a part on a live set of a reality porn TV show. The set includes 7 men, so hint the Snow White and the seven hunks, but they change the name up a bit because of the added person Nicole. Brandy gets the part of Snow White while Nicole gets to play the submissive Red Rose. A few of these men gets very possessive with Nicole, especially Gabe.

Spoilers below!

Things I didn’t like.
The storyline was just plain stupid and I found myself questoning quite a few parts. I love reading books with multiple partners, but this one just felt like a bad pron movie.

Nicole plays the submissive and has to go days without orgasms, so while her sister Brandy gets to have all the sex and orgasms she wants. Nicole has to hold her orgasms or she of course gets punished and you know she ends up getting punished. I felt sorry for Nicole she is stuck in this contract and now she has a bipolar sister ready to go off on her if she gets any sex….

When Nicole finally gets sex, Needless to say it was a mess, the men didn’t spend much time with her like they did with her sister Brandy. Brandy got hours of sex just with one man, but when they got to Nicole she just got a few minutes and then they tore her, yep, I said that right these men are porn stars so they are very well endowed and Nicole is small even in that area, so when they had sex with her she ended up with a few tears, so no more sex for Nicole for a while again ugh.. So this got me thinking if she can’t take one of these men how in the world would she be able to have a baby?? LOL
For some reason I got it in my head that Nicole would have been the one having all the fun, not her sister getting the biggest part of the fun.

I guess if your just in a mood for some porn without much romance this would be for you. Other than that, please check out quite a few reviews before buying this one.

If someone had told me that I would enjoy a erotica story that's based on making a porn, I would have laughed and denied it with sparkly eyes and lots of heehaws! Yet, I read a ridiculous cute, sassy story about a girl and several guys. It's goofy, silly and ridiculous! But I enjoyed the silly, steamy ride! LOL~

One of my common complaints is erotica that has a great premise and characters, absolutely strong and compelling enough to make up a book-length work, but it is done in short story or novella format. I can't believe I'm saying this, but with this book, I feel the opposite.

The premise is great. The heroine is brought into what is essentially a fantasy situation for most women, but somewhat against her will. But it allows her to surrender all control or moral/ethical ambiguity, because she has a clear reason that she has to be there. There is good contrast with her narcissistic, bitchy sister. But then comes the problem. Sure, 7 men... sounds enticing, but that makes it virtually impossible to develop each with any amount of individuality. The main male character is consistently the primary focus of Nicole's attention, but he's not all that different from the other 6, other than being in charge of the project. Plus, she has fleeting, ever-shifting infatuations with some of the other men, too. The length of the story, along with the fact that in book-length erotica there does have to be more to the scenes than the sexual aspect, led to long, bothersome passages of production details and rambling inner dialogue.

The "reunion" at the end was good... but I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the long-term resolution the author gave these characters. I would have liked to have seen this story either the same length, but with fewer, more fully-developed characters, or allow the multiple characters to remain a bit indistinct and interchangeable and make the whole thing shorter and more intense, focusing on Nicole's reaction to the situation and how those feelings change from start to finish.

Where to start...I bought this book for it's title. Who could resist Snow White & the Seven Hunks...however, this is truely a story of Rose Red and her 4 lovers. Nikki has an evil sister, Brandy, who steals money from their boss, Glenda aka the Wicked Witch. Glenda forces the girls to do a reality porn show w/the Seven Hunks or she is going to press charges and send them to jail. The girls agree, and the story goes from there. The sex is VERY detailed! VERY!! Nothing is left to the imagination! I found myself laughing out loud w/some of the antics on the set between the hunks and Rose Red (Nikki). The main Hunk, Gabe, and his brother, Shaun, and their two best friends, Basil & Hunter, find themselves falling in love w/their Rose Red, and I'll not spoil the ending for anyone who wants to know the HEA of this erotic fairy tale.

I will say that Nikki cracked me up a few times with forever saying the 'shit fairy' was following her around. One of my fav scenes: "The shit fairy had attended my birth and sprinkled fairy manure over me, cursing me forever afterward to get the shit end of the stick in any given situation. Brandy, my sister, had often accused me of having opitalrectumitis, but how I could have any other outlook was beyond me. It never failed. If I had a half a dozen options, I unerringly chose the absolute worst. If I bought something, it was broken when I got home. If it was under warranty, it broke the day after the warranty expired. If I got into a line, any line, that line stopped moving. There didn't seem to be any aspect in my life that was unaffected by the 'shit curse'." I sometimes feel the same way! LOL!

I found this to be a fun quick read!

Okay, this book was really slow to get started for me and I had trouble getting into it. The author attempted to cover a LOT of ground to get the story started. It actually felt like I had been up for 5 days straight and my brain just couldn’t focus, but in fact the story just bounced a lot. So around chapter 3 I think it started getting into a grove. As the story developed I was able to enjoy it more.

The story is very similar to one I just read by the same author Surrender by Kimberly Zant and I gave that 5-star so you think I’d love this one, but… not so much!

First off I’m not a fan of the sisters… I love a wide range of female char roles save for 2 and amazing enough they both made it into this book: they are doormat and psycho bitch. The character we follow for the majority of the story is Nichole, who plays the doormat, so her inner dialogue at times made my eyes bleed. Now I might have been able to stomach a bit better and gotten past it is I didn’t have to contend with the psycho sister, Brandy. And yes, I understand she was dealing with untreated mental disorder, but OMG! Her personality did not change at all once she was on medication… I don’t always expect to like a character but this one was just hard and I cringed when she was around, waiting for the shoe to drop.

Then when the PoV changed you almost had to guess because it wasn’t consistent. Sometimes this Hunk, then that Hunk… I was left unbalanced which made it hard for the story to flow for me.

The sex was interesting, and I wish it was explained a bit more… I'm going to read Submission by Kimberly Zant next, I hope it's better!

I was disappointed by this book.
It is a good premise, Nicole and Brandy are blackmailed in to starring in a porn movie with seven hunky, Doms, but I was expecting way more characterisation and evolvement of the characters, especially Nicole and her three or four main guys. Initially I found the book to be intriguing, especially Nicole's punishment at the beginning of her submissive training. However, as I read further, I found Nicole to be too much of a 'door mat', she didn't go after anything that she wanted, including sex, she seemed to be filled with anxiety all the time and from my perspective she doesn't grow as a character. I think this can cover all the characters, they didn't evolve, grow, or have a carthesis at the end of the book, Brandy didn't get what was coming to her for being a psycho sister and Nicole didn't act on any of her realisations for fear of getting kicked out of the house. Also the stalker seemed to be just added in, its only aim being the reason to get everyone back together; there was no resolution to the stalker issue at all.
After saying all that, I think it could be really good if it just had a bit more work.
Just something extra.

I was a bit disappointed with this book. I just read a couple other reviews, and I think I am agreeing with Lori -- There were too many characters who all seemed pretty much the same. There were a couple who stood out, but over all -- the hunks were interchangeable (even down to the fact that they all had piercings and exceptionally large members...) -- I didn't think the sex scenes were all that hot at all, and while they were lengthy, they were not all that detailed, other than reminding us that Nicole (Rose Red) was really small, and couldn't handle the guys. over and over and over...okay, we got it! In fact, I found myself more annoyed with this book than enjoying it. It gets two stars because of the idea behind the story. It should have been much shorter (and focused on One main man) or much longer, developing the reality show story line better. In fact, I think my favorite chapter was when they watched the finished movie -- you finally got to see some of the uniqueness of the characters.

I didn't think it was so bad. Sure, the sex was rather mechanical, but I thought it fit with the porn flick production plot. Finding love through a porn movie, hmm, sounds a little like the movie Love Actually. I guess it could happen.

There was a menage relationship here, though. The guys involved were just blindsided by their growing affection for Nicole and had to work through the typical jealously that reared up amongst themselves. I was okay with the fellas; they didn't have any major character flaws. On the other hand, I was frustrated with Nicole's inability to stand up to her bipolar older sister, and her need to always clean up her sister's messes. The lack of communication between Nicky and her guys towards the end was a real problem for me, too. I'm not a fan of ignoring the elephant in the room.

Like I said, this story wasn't so bad, but it's hardly at the top of my favorite erotica list either. It was just a different perspective on where and how you can find love. 3 stars.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! I don't know how this received so many mediocre reviews.

Was it perfect? No. Was I entertained? Yes!

When I read this genre, I check common sense and a sense of reality at the door. Then, I'm able to enjoy these highly unlikely yet erotic stories.

The story had some twists that were different than I expected. I don't want to ruin the end or any part, but i was very surprised and pleased with how the book ended.

The book could use some editing. The first part of the book looked good, but it appeared that, as the story went along, there was less and less proofreading. Near the end of the book there were several exclamation points on the same page.

Banished to the land of 'did not finish' and 'will not read again'. I got all the way to chapter 4 and just couldn't stand it anymore. The plot (I know, I know, what plot?) was horrible and by the end of chapter 2 I wanted to claw my eyes out. By the start of chapter 4 I figured I had suffered enough.

Just say NO, to this one. I couldn't stand the female lead. She was weak. And I wanted to just choke and put her out of her misery. Just a waste of time really.
