“Caught in the Act” by Alex Marcus-Jacobs
With his dorm mostly empty for the holidays, Tom decides it’s the perfect time to try out the toys he just bought himself. When his sexy friend Adrian catches him in the act, Tom’s mortified until it becomes clear that perhaps Adrian might like to give him a hand with testing out his new vibrators.

It’s fun to read about friends becoming lovers, and “Caught in the Act” is no exception. I loved the hesitation and slight uncertainty in both Tom and Adrian, and I enjoyed their desire for one another overcoming it even more. A light-hearted, pleasurable tale, I enjoyed reading “Caught in the Act.”

“A Hand from Eros and Venus” by S. Blaise
It’s not the first time Kieran has ever been into a sex shop, but it is the first time he’s ever been there to buy something. On a mission to find a gag gift for his friend’s wedding, Kieran meets Mack, the owner of Eros and Venus. Mack’s happy to help Kieran find the perfect gift; and even happier to offer Kieran a personal demonstration of his products.

S. Blaise captures that indefinable spark that comes from meeting a sexy stranger perfectly in “A Hand from Eros and Venus.” I loved watching the confident Mack seduce the somewhat shy Kieran. What’s more, I loved watching Kieran come into his own as he began exploring his sexuality with Mack. These two definitely burned up the page in the best of ways, and I adored every minute of it. This was the first story I’ve read by Ms. Blaise and it definitely won’t be the last.

“Discreet Packaging” by Chris Owen
Detective Cortland Strang has just received a box wrapped in notably discreet packaging. Though unsure what’s in the package and who sent it, his lover, Patrick Gallagher, is eager to find out. When it turns out that the package contains sex toys, Cort and Gallagher’s evening gets a whole lot hotter.

Chris Owen never fails to pen an entertaining tale and “Discreet Packaging” is no exception. Even tired after a long week at work, Gallagher has a sparkling energy which drew me in. The more calm of the pair, Cort is nevertheless equally enticing. Together, they’re dynamite and I loved both the genuine emotion between the lovers and the way they heated up the page. Cort and Gallagher’s first story was in the To Serve and Protect anthology and immediately upon finishing “Discreet Packaging” I rushed to buy and read their story in To Serve and Protect.

There’s nothing innocent about a vibrator, and Toy Box: Vibrators explores the wonderful naughtiness of such toys. Each story has its own distinctive feel and each was a delight to read. Fans old and new of Alex Marcus-Jacobs, S. Blaise, and Chris Owen are sure to adore this deliciously wicked anthology.

In “Caught in the Act” by Alex Marcus-Jacobs, Tom is staying at school over Christmas break to be alone for once. Although he tells his mother he will be busy working on a big assignment, really he will be experimenting with the new toys he bought himself. Five different vibrators from toyzforboiz.com are sure to give Tom plenty of fun, but when his friend Adrian accidentally walks in on him the plans change a bit. This is a sexy story about a marathon of vibrator play for a guy who’s been going without sex since breaking up with his last boyfriend. Tom is a toy newbie and has no idea what’s in store for him and that adds to the excitement and heat of the story. There is lots of variety in just a few pages making for a fun read.

“A Hand from Eros and Venus” by S. Blaise finds Kieran in a sex shop for the very first time, looking to purchase a gift for his good friend Heidi who is getting married. He is nervous and unsure of what to purchase but thankfully shop owner Mack is there to help. From the first moment he sees Kieran, Mack is attracted to the man and wants to help him out in many ways, including providing some private lessons on just how to use the toys. Mack sees what damage Kieran’s ex-girlfriend did to his sexual confidence and is ready to prove just how wrong the girl was. This is a great story about an open guy who is discovering a new kind of attraction. Kieran is sweet and possesses a level of innocence that makes him quite endearing and Mack is just pure sexy. The story gets intensely erotic as Mack helps Kieran overcome his low confidence, and it’s steamy and hot and a pure joy to read! I definitely hope that the authors decides to revisit these characters!

In “Discreet Packaging” by Chris Owen, Detective Cort Strang receives a discretely marked package that his lover Detective Peter Gallagher is insistent upon opening. When they break into the package they are quite surprised to find sex toys. Cort has no recollection of ordering vibrators, a dildo and edible oils but Gallagher is ready and willing to make up for a week apart by playing with the new vibrators. This is a sexy story about two detectives taking some time off and releasing some stress together. It is obvious from this story that there is a lot more to these two men but this sexual interlude is erotic and hot in all the right ways. Surprise sex toys are always fun and the men put them to very good use!

Toy Box: Vibrators is a wonderful collection of stories where men get down and dirty with a little extra vibration. Each story uses a different type of toy but all are quite hot making for an excellent read!

A little trio of stories about boys and their toys. I really didn’t realise that each story was only 10 or so pages long. They seemed longer. First one is a university student who thinks he’s alone in his dorm over Christmas and buys himself some toys. He’s walked in on while using them with a friend/crush who joins in of course. Second story is a “straight” guy who goes to buy a vibe as a joke for his friend getting married and gets hit on by the adult store owner. He opens the package (curiosity killed the cat) and has to go back for another and gets a lesson from the owner. Third one is two detective and one gets a mystery package with a bunch of toys. They use some of them and then realize someone sent them to him to hide from his sister. Ooops. Used her toys. Not sure I had a fave of the three. They were all cute little stories and as I said, for 10 pages each they packed quite a bit in and were satisfying. (haha)
