This was a very useful book for learning about who Ibn Taymiyyah was, his life story, his achievements, a discussion of his most popular works, and his impact on our ummah. He is a very distinguished scholar who should be known by every muslim. The book is originally part of a 4-part Arabic book series by the late Sayyed Abul Hasan Nadwi who wrote many great books and who lived in India. The book series highlights the lives of the distinguished muslim of each century (which is citing a hadith that says a prominent scholar will come every century to enrich our ummah and attack the sharp criticisms on Muslim beliefs, the Quran, and the Sunnah). This is the third volume i think. the first two talk about a group of scholars and then the last one highlights the life of imam i can't seem to remember.

This book will clarify the blasphemy around him. Indeed he's one of ultimate scholar who brought back islam to steadfastness path. Back to the path of first generation in Islam. I can't wait to read minhajussunnah as the counterpath of minhajal karamah.
His thinking was based on the empirical data and brave to point out the weakness in logic of greek philoshopy. We need more scholars like him.

this is an excellent book by Abul Hassan Ali an nadwi may ALLAAH reward and grant him paradise wallaahi i didnt know alot about sheikh ul islam ibn taymia but now Allhamdulliha i leaned alot.
