I found this neatly structured and accessible. The information is fairly basic but provides a good introduction for parents. Perhaps the most valuable chapters are chapters 9 & 10 which suggest the use of simple line drawings and offer examples, ie on p168 Tom's Work: 1) Pegs, 2) Puzzle, 3) Blow bubbles with simple drawings of each activity.
