The Oxford First Words series give your child a head start in learning another language. Each title takes the reader on a picture-book journey through a day, cleverly interweaving lots of familiar settings and cute little dinosaurs. Well, I finally finished it! My first book in Arabic! Granted, it was just individual words, but I read them all. It was no small feat because the book does not provide pronunciation, only English equivalents. I had to rely on my knowledge of Arabic letters. Still, I read a lot of words. Now, on to sentences? ;)
