Another great book by Stormie. I have her book The power of a praying wife. This book is just as good however I find it is mostly prayer methods. I stopped reading the last chapter because it was basically a fill in the blanks and I think that prayer true prayer comes from the heart. I think it would have been better off to simply State the ways that we can pray for our country then give a fill in the blank pray this prayer with me.

Re-reading as I am challenged to pray for my nation to remain and be a sheep nation. Each read brings fresh insights and reminders on the importance of prayer. Each chapter begins with a relevant introduction and a prayer model and closed with relevant bible verses that can be quoted as we continue in a prayerful spirit.

Usually anything by Stormie Omartian is a 5 star from me. This was a good book with prayer starters the main theme being 9-11 but can easily be relatable for today but I dropped off 1 star because the intro to the prayers fell a little flat to me which usually isn't the case in her Power of Praying books.

Our country is a not mess right now. Ppl are hateful spiteful mean and a litany of other things the bible predicted. But we still need to pray and pray more. I recommend this book to anyone who still be!ieves that God is listening and in control. These are powerful prayers greatly needed today.
