Readers be warned: Without a third book in the series, this book is left with a minimal ending, and on a few major cliffhangers.

Why hasn't anyone of Goodreads reviewed here yet? I read the first book 2005/6 and then forgot the name of the title and author until I saw it a few mnths ago, the cover art that is. Anyway, so I picked this up and I really liked how it followed the villain of the first novel (Rathalorn) for the most part and how bitter he was because he was exiled to earth and yet he is growing attached to his life on earth. It was really sweet to see him change.
Writing is fine, good pacing and a plot easy to follow. I'm looking forward to a third novel but I'm doubting it'll come out.
