Read this as a psychologist working with a grieving client and found it an excellent resource with many practical suggestions and exercises. Rings true with my own experience as a grieving mother. Would have been a decent read in my early grief (although there are better books for child loss grief).
I’ve been exploring lots of book on grief after I lost my mom in August 2022 and this has been one of them. There is not one method or one way to handle or manage grief but trying is all that matters and this book has been part of my journey.
Probably the most practical and helpful book on dealing with grief and what to expect that I’ve read since my beloved Neil died five months ago. Going to buy my own copy I think.
