Basically it says eat fruits and vegetables. Recipes did not sound good or easy to make.

This book was really well done. I enjoyed the sections on different immunity afflictions (acne, asthma, colds, flu, allergies, etc) and how to eat to prevent/"heal" them. She also discussed different nutrients and the best foods from which to get them. The back half of the book is full of recipes. Some more decent looking than others. In addition, this book has a good appendix, which is always important when you want to find that one bit of information you remembered reading somewhere.

Overall a really informative book. Diid not like the sound of the recipes, bleh! Not realistic for an ordinary person like me to try and make such unusual foods, many of which I wouldn't even like to try. The menu plan was a bit of a waste paper really. Nice to read about the top 25 super foods and why they are good for you. Has some good tips.

This is an easy to read, easy to follow book that targets information on a core group of food that help the body to heal and become strong. I picked this up more for the recipes as I've previously learned a lot of this information in different books I've read. But this is a good introduction to healing foods for anyone just starting to learn about them.

In the process of reading this and like how it lists what systems and parts of the body the food supports.
