Special Ops vs. terrorist threat—first in a gripping new action-adventure series.
The Trident Force is the blackest of the black ops. Their specialty: fighting the war on terror at sea. Handpicked for their skills above and below the waterline, they do the jobs no one else can handle—and the jobs no one else could survive.
This book sets up reasonable backgrounds on characters, and provides decent ideas for the plot... But somehow it's all very bland. The action never feels very exciting. The characters have minimal flushing out, but I never cared about any of them, so nothing felt very important.
Not really my type of book (politics/navy/terrorism) but interesting storyline in which the reader already knows the mystery that the characters in the book are trying to solve.
