This slim volume contains a concise and clear outline of major aspects of Norwegian grammar beginning with the present and past tenses, and moving through adjectives, adverbs, word order, and numbers. Each chapter is clearly laid out and there are many example sentences to help understand the grammar.

This book works best alongside another: on its own it is not sufficient to learn Norwegian with, but with a CD and textbook, this will help to improve vocabulary and comprehension.

I don’t have much to say with regards to this one. To put it quite simply, it provides incredibly brief explanations and examples of the most essential grammar rules in Norwegian bokmål, while providing a splendid array of vocabulary. This is not necessarily perfect for me considering where I am in my learning, but it served as a nice refresher and introduced me to a solid number of words, nonetheless. I highly recommend it as a reference material to always have on-hand for any learners, nonetheless.
