It's time for Haley to live in the REAL world! The end of Haley's junior year is coming and pressure is also arising. Happiness needs to come to her in order to let her forget about the stress and pressure she has on her back. Haley's indecisive now, not knowing if she should focus on her interest in photography, or hanging out with the cool kids during her summer. Many things are around the corner, such as college tours, SATs, etc... Senior year is around the corner and is it for sure that Haley is ready to face the pre-reality of the society?

Liz Ruckdeschel writes this book in a way of how we readers can choose what to read. We are the ones who are "writing" the book, when technically just reading it. By having choices being made from readers, the structure of how she writes is unusual of others. It's more descriptive and it is visual for readers to create an image in their heads.

I like this book because I get to make my own decision and I like that. I like how we can read like two "formats" of the book, how it's the same book but can be read in a different way. I think it's really cute and this way, we are more sure of how the author writes. I would recommend this book to any teens and young adults.

Serinin diğer versiyonlarını daha çok sevmiştim. Bunda tercih yaptığımızdaki geçişlerde çok kopukluk vardı.. O yüzden hiç sevmedim.

Talk about corny! But I actually had a lot of fun reading this. I've never read a choose-your-own-adventure book before so this was a whole new experience for me. While I thought it was really fun, I also felt like my choices didn't seem to matter much. The outcomes weren't what I was expecting from my choices. (Hey, that's life!)

What I didn't like (and what I guess must be an unavoidable feeling with c-y-o-a books) was the major disconnect from the story. I read books to escape reality, to live in another world for a bit, and knowing that just one chapter back was an alternate reality that the author made up, knowing that the reality I chose wasn't the only one, threw me off-kilter. I want to believe in this world that I'm reading, but when it defies the laws of reality it takes me out of the fiction and brings me back to the real world where I don't want to be, where I think too much, and where we don't get plainly laid out paths and do-overs when we get the wrong outcome.

Thank you Popsugar, once again, for broadening my horizons with your reading challenge!

I read all the possible variations of stories o pick and honestly, the plot was really boring. Maybe it's just me but a whole book about a girl who's trying to pick a prom partner is not worthy of being read. I only liked two thing in this whole story, the first was when Haley's friend told her that she seemed much more confident behind the camera. That just resembled myself, since I have noticed the same things in me too. The other things were choices, I liked making choices. But sometimes, you read about people you had never met before. Like once, I was about to chose a partner and I didn't even know who Reese was, but then it suggested me to go with Reese.
I don't know, if you want something really light and not thought-provoking, I guess this can be the right book.

"This semester at Hillsdale High, the big question is what to get more involved with: boys or school?" Some people like school, and some people like boys. Therefore, they avoid to read the books based on the summary that provided. But this book satisfy all your desires. Because you get to choose what you are going to read about. At the end of each chapter, the author provided the choices about school and boys, you get choose what you are going to read next. If you ask me, what will I choose from boys or school? I will said school, I think education is important than love. While I was reading this book, I wanted the protagonist to choose love, because I like to read "love story."=D

Sadly, this is the last book in the 'What If' series. I think Haley had enough decisions made from us, and now is on her own.

Well technically, not all of Haley's dreams came true, but the point here is that after she moved to Hillsdale, she fit in right away, meeting new friends, and focusing her life on schoolwork and her future.

I will miss choosing Haley's destiny, but where would it continue? I think the authors gave enough of their ideas to these novels, but they were all magnificent ideas, anyway.

These novels are fun, quick, and give you something to look forward to read.

I really do enjoy the What If.. series but I don't know. This book was sort of a downfall for me compared to the other books. It wasn't very linked up well and something about it makes me think it's just not as good as the other ones. I am extremely disappointed but I'll most likely continue to read the other books in the series in hopes of reading something better.

I was sitting in the library and had 40 minutes before I had to go anywhere. I decided just to pick another one of these books up to read. I enjoyed it for the short amount of time that I had to kill, but I am not in a rush to go out and buy any either. It is pretty cool to pick your own story, but I always end up picking the safe options and that ends up being really boring.

I love books like these because you can read them over and over again and have a new storyline every time. A little juvenile for my tastes, but a fun quick read.
