Rate this book
The first installment of "How It All Got Started," the inaugural story arc from Matthew Wayne Selznick's "Hazy Days and Cloudy Nights" serial fiction webzine.

ABOUT THE
“Hazy Days and Cloudy Nights” is the ongoing episodic serial story of a group of friends, lovers, rivals and rockers living in Southern California. We begin in 1984, when most of the characters are in their late teens, and we'll follow them into adulthood and the edge of the 21st century.

The stories of “Hazy Days and Cloudy Nights” take place against the backdrop of the alternate history setting known as the Sovereign Era, when thousands of people with remarkable powers and abilities appear and change the course of human destiny. Our concern in "Hazy Days and Cloudy Nights" is with the everyday people… but you can expect some crossover of characters and events from the more fantastic Sovereign Era novels and short stories.

For an introduction to this period of late twentieth century history, see Matthew Wayne Selznick's book, “Brave Men Run — A Novel of the Sovereign Era,” also available for the Kindle.
