This book teaches kids about renewable energy and the different types of energy. It also mentions how it is used. Since this is part of the Super Science Series, Max Axiom mentions using his super powers in parts of the book, but that does not get away from the factual information or the main ideas presented. This is an awesome book for kids, including the harder science vocabulary spelled out and defined along the way!

I rated this book 5 stars because it is part of a great graphic novel series that I just discovered! I think this is a better way to teach science than reading a textbook. I like how there is a main character involved who has super powers, but they stick to the real concepts in the book and doesn't make it seem like science happens from the scientist's magic.

I would use this book to teach renewable energy. I would also use it as possibly a beginning reader book for some students since it is so well written. I could use this series as part of stations in science we when learn about a new topic and it would be great if there was a video with it as well!

This is a wonderful book series to use as science curriculum for elementary age students. I love that after reading these stories there is a website link to activities, that can be incorporated with the lesson to reinforce the material.

Good intro into the topic. Cover shows hybrid car which was not covered in this book.
