"Will. Fitz. Love of my life. Devil of my dreams."

Indiscreet is the perfect sequel to Discreet and it kept all what it promised to be. This is a page-turner you simply can't put down until you are finished.

"I don't know where I belong, Will! - That's because you belong to me."

The road ahead of Will and Maggie after the events in Maggie's hometown is a very rocky one. There is more than one obstacle in their way. Not only physical ones in form of human beings but also psychological ones. Both have inner demons they need to fight and anxieties that they need to overcome.

"Will made me feel big when the world made me small."

But Will and Maggie make it work. They have great chemistry and their deep and pure love for each other helps them to find their way. Together they are a strong unit that can steer a boat through any rough sea that tries to shake them up.

"How do you do it? - Do what? ... - Be the air I need and take my breath away all at once."

The pages of Indiscreet are filled with angst, love, sexy scenes and characters that breath life into this book and story: I enjoyed every minute spent with Maggie and Will.

⭐️⭐️1/2
Overview:
Fitz (29) & Maggie (26). Book 2 of 2. Mostly told from Maggie’s POV. It has a HEA and an epilogue.

I described the characters in my review of Book 1, so I’m not going to rehash that here again. So let me just talk about the story....argh. Drama, drama, drama overkill. Here’s my list of what I remember..…

I just listed about 15 things. Are there more? I’m sure there are but that gives you and idea of how much drama is in this book. It was overwhelming and detracted from the story. Pick a couple and focus on resolving them. Don’t hit me over the head with the kitchen sink.

Also, still not a fan of Maggie. How many times can she be a victim and then expect someone else to rescue her? Where’s her backbone? Yes, she had legitimate things she was dealing with, but she felt weak to me. All except 2 chapters were told from her POV and honestly I felt the best chapters in the book were the 2 told from Will’s POV. I would much rather have been inside his head than Maggie’s.

Just a little bit of a nit pick.....but this series made a big deal about how people picked on Maggie and treated her differently because she was “brown-skinned”, yet the cover for both books clearly does not portray the female lead in that manner. Why??

Anyway, I did like Will, but I didn’t get enough of him. He had some serious issues and it would have been nice to get inside his head and actually work through all the crap he dealt with.

The book was long (400 pages) and could have been half that without all the extra, unnecessary drama. I believe I’m in the minority here as most people seem to love this series. Sadly, it didn’t work for me.

“You and me, baby. We’re not right now. We’re forever.”

4.5 beautifully romantic stars!

Just wow. What an amazing, beautifully romantic continuation of Will and Maggie’s story. So much heart, passion and intensity, the finale to the Discreet duet is dramatic and emotional, and a love story that absolutely stole my heart. A gorgeous read, I loved it so much!

This book picks up a couple of weeks after the ending of Discreet. Will’s secret is out, and the world’s most famous movie star is back on the grid after his mysterious disappearance four years ago, and he is not happy about. But this time he has Maggie by his side, and the feels are super intense as the two of them face the reality of their situation.

“I’m Will, Maggie.” His voice cracked, and I watched, horrified, as he sank to his knees in front of me and buried his face in my thigh. “I’m your Will, baby. And you’re mine. My Lily pad. Without you… Without you, I have no name. Without you, I’m no one at all.”

There is so much that thy need to sort through, first and foremost between the two of them, and I was on the edge of my seat with my heart aching as they pour their hearts out.

“I’m still mad at you,” I whispered as he pressed kisses on top of my head.
One hand wrapped securely around my waist while the other slid up my neck to cup the back of my head and cradle me into his shoulder.
“So be mad,” he said. “Be angry. Be upset. But be mad with me, Lil. Just be with me.”

But they are entering a whole new world as they are suddenly thrust into the spotlight, facing the pressures of Hollywood and fame and becoming targets of the incessant paparazzi. Can they make it in the world that almost broke Will the first time around? And how will they deal with the massive changes they are about to face? It’s a rollercoaster ride, and through it all there is SO much emotion. And after the secrets of their beginning, I love that they are so open with each other now, deeply in love and determined to do anything to stay together.

“Don’t leave me again, Lil,” he whispered as he buried his face into my neck. “I can’t do this without you.”

But they are in for a world of drama as the deal with family drama, ex drama, and the huge complications that come with Will’s celebrity – both to him individually and to them as a couple. It’s a lot to deal with, and watching them work through it all had me glued to my kindle as I journeyed through the highs and lows with them. It’s not always easy, and the drama does get intense, but at the middle of it all we have this beautiful love story that makes all of the heartache worth it.

It’s beautifully romantic, and I was lost in a world of swoon. And the hotness! OMG, so much hotness. The steamy time is super sexy and intense, and there’s a lot of it, showing the depth of Will and Maggie’s connection and bringing even more feels!

“God,” he whispered, eyes full of love ... “How do you do it?”
I swallowed. “Do what?”
… “Be the air I need and take my breath away all at once.”

I absolutely loved this story! Will and Maggie stole my heart, and though their romance wasn’t always easy, I loved watching them work through it all and find the HEA that they both so desperately wanted.

This is a great ending to the duet, rated down half a point only for some predictable, slightly cheesy moments, but it's a story that will stay with me for a long time.

Absolutely beautiful! 4.5 stars.

Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of paparazzi, Hollywood, stalkers and so much more. Please don’t read this review if you have not yet read Discreet…you need to start there! You can #oneclick it right HERE and then read my review HERE.

The secret has been exposed, Will is Fitz Baker and everything is about to change! Maggie is a mess yet again. I can’t imagine what she must have been feeling, she was lost and confused. Angry at Will but longing for him at the same time. She battles a lot of demons this time around and it was heartbreaking watching her struggle. People look down on her and treat her like garbage and you will want to just reach in and comfort her.

Will. Fitz. Love of my life. Devil of my dreams.

Compared to Maggie…I think Will’s struggle hurt the most. He has basically been off the grid for 4 years and gets tossed back into the limelight. Not just a normal “hey I’m back let’s have dinner” it’s a full on “back on the set-getting chased by paparazzi-being tempted with old ways” type of struggle. I was angry with him and his asshole ways but I also sympathized with him and all that was thrown in his direction. His love for “Lily” is stronger than ever but he has to fight so much more to make it work.

Take me, Lily. All of me – for all of you.

There was so much back and forth, so much doubt in each other and in themselves. Indiscreet was a long road of emotions and learning to bend and adapt to what life throws at you. It wasn’t what they expected, it wasn’t perfect, but it was their story!

It’s a violent thing, love. It’s sharp as a fucking razor and can rip your heart to shreds.

If you've read Discreet, this book is a no-brainer. Will & Lily fans will NOT be disappointed. I'm always at a loss for words when I go to review French's books. They are just so much MORE than most of the novels I read as a heavy reader. More depth, more feelings, more everything. This novel is no exception. This book gave me so many damn feelings: excitement, lust, happiness, heartbreak, frustration, anxiety. I was angry at a main character in an extreme way, and I still might be a little bit, but what an exhilarating ride. A satisfying end to Will & Lily's saga. I will deeply miss them.

Indiscreet follows Maggie and Will story after she finds out his big secret. They figure a way to be together but is not easy. This book is very emotional, full of angst, we get hateful characters from both Maggie and Will's past. People you want to slap so hard.

A lot of things happened. Not gonna lie, not all of them made me happy, but at the end they manage to find their happiness. They fight their inner demons. Some people is not happy with Will but I know how hard it is to overcome anxiety or any other emotional disease. He loves Maggie and together they save each other.

Looking forward to the extended epilogue. I love this characters.

I loved the first book of this duet, Discreet. I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much. Although I liked reading the completion of Maggie and Will’s story, it didn’t capture my interest as much as the first one. I will say I still enjoyed the writing and I couldn’t imagine not reading this book to find out what happens with them. I still gave this book 4 stars because of the writing and that I was still invested in Maggie and Will. They are the perfect couple but are just surrounded by some really evil people who will do anything to try to rip them apart. This makes for some dramatic scenes and great conflict! I will definitely read more of Nicole French’s books!

Indescreet will suck you in not letting go til the very end! My heart was racing and emotions were everywhere! Jaw dropping a few times! Holy smokes! What a delicious ride in The Discreet Duet Series!

Nicole French has written a fabulous story of Hollywood stardom and things behind the scenes covering various topics.

Will and Lily Pad still have a difficult road ahead of them with obstacles are thrown in their path testing their relationship. Their ghosts of the past surface to the present causing chaos.

Definitely a must read series!

This book was extraordinary. You hope that a sequel will live up to the first book. This one exceeded it. As much as I adored Discreet, Indiscreet was even better! The highs and lows are dramatic, the sex is sooooo good, and most of all, it delivered satisfaction in every possible way. I love these characters, I love this story, and Nicole French is now on my autobuy list. Drop everything and go read Indiscreet!

Floored! In a good way!

* Could be spoilers..beware if you continue.*

I just spent the last 2 days reading this Discreet Duet by Nicole French and I am FLOORED to say the least. I gave the 1st book, Discreet a 5 star rating but didn't take time to review 'cos I just wanted to dive into this one, Indiscreet as fast as humanly possible. Wow, wow, wow, these 2 books are exponentially awesome and I'm so going to find these characters floating around in my head for a very long time.

So, in Discreet, we meet Maggie Sharp, who ran to NYC as soon as she was able to attend college and escape her alcoholic mother. She said she'd not return again until Ellie, her mom, was sober. Eight years later, after a music career that never took off and a sadistic ex goes to jail, via her testimony, she swallows her pride and returns to the lake community across the country in Spokane. It's the only place she has to go, so she does but finds things with her mother haven't changed, much to her dismay. Her mom is a huge mess.

Back in Newman Lake, she literally 'crashes' into a man who could double as a Sasquatch, with crazy long blond hair and a beard to match, but those penetrating green eyes, unforgettable. He is a real a$$, mean and nasty but somehow she keeps running into him everywhere she goes, or should I say falls, gets stuck or hurt and he begrudgingly helps her every time! His name is Will Baker and he is definitely growing on her!

They form a friendship, which turns into more even as they both fight it, at 1st. I LOVED Will, he is sweet and vulnerable underneath the mask he wears. He is so reclusive and afraid of being seen, doesn't go out anywhere. Even after 4 years, no one in Newman Lake has seen him around, except now Maggie has. We find out why he's so guarded and its is a doozie. Can Maggie and Will, who have known each other in only one way, get past what they will have to deal with now that Will's truth is totally exposed, not just here in their lake community but in every corner of the world now? Can their love survive in this blown up situation?

So now, Indiscreet, how could I give it anything less than 5 stars, would give more of it were possible here.

Will winds up back in NYC as he tries to find his soulmate, Maggie, who doesn't want to be found. Can't blame her after finding out the sweet, sensitive reclusive man she loves is actually a world famous movie star who faked his own death to escape the horrors of his what his life had become as said actor.

This is the story of what happens when he finds her. It is AMAZING, it might be a new favorite of mine now. So many things I loved about it. The very intriguing MC's and the 'supporting cast'..lol. Maggie's musical aspects (wished there had more of that), the Hollywood scenes, evil, scheming exes and more schemers who weren't! The crazy mothers, wacky friends, bizarre situations, the sexy swooniness of Will, God, the things he says..and means, he has some alpha going on (😉). The way Maggie 'gets' him in all his quirks and fears, makes him feel safe and loved. Boy, do they show each other how much..alot..wow, the steamy scenes in this book are seriously hot, that dirty talking Will! There were poignant moments but so much wit and humor were mixed in too, I was bookmarking pages right and left.

Give me more Nicole French now! I might be found binging her books for a while, that's for sure. She has some major talent and I'm so glad I read this series after seeing a recommendation from another reader on Goodreads. I heartily recommend this duet and can only hope you read it for yourselves. You will be missing out on a unique and amazing love story if you don't!

Reading this was seriously masochistic on my part, seeing how I so disliked the first part. Perhaps I wanted to see how much worse it got? Maybe I was hoping that the second half would be better.
Nope.
Anything that could have gone wrong, did, and then some. Like, drama overkill.
Look, I'm not much for sweet tales with unicorns farting rainbows everywhere. I do like a bit of drama. But it's got to be solid and plausible, and not the clichéd shite that causes my eyes to involuntarily roll back and get stuck there. Like in this book, for instance.
And then there were the characters. Will was more sympathetic to me simply because he actually was a victim and had a legitimate social disorder or two. It made the fact that he always seemed to be the one groveling rather nonsensical and made me ever more aware that stories where both characters are significantly flawed rarely work.
Because, Maggie. Ugh. No.
I blamed her for her own situation and the consequences she kept racking up. So much was in her control but she was just pointless.
You know the film Moonstruck, when Cher slaps Nick Cage a good one and yells, "Snap out of it!!"?
Yeah, that.
Jesus but this b*tch was pathetic. She was always shaking or whimpering and then there was her ridiculous, random stutter. Do NOT try to manipulate me with such contrived histrionics. I'm an aspie. I literally do not understand why I am ostensibly expected feel empathy here.
Am I wrong for wanting heroines to have more substance than a jellyfish? To not need a man to fix them? No, instead we get clumsy and awkward female leads, like the absence of dignity is funny and therefore endearing. It's not, just saying. Or worse, women who are ruled by fear and fall apart on the regular, who need held and comforted...and then banged within an inch of their lives.
Cuz nothing says sexy times like tears and snot...and really, who doesn't dream of a good, stiff shag after having a meltdown?
🙄
But I digress.
I'm not going to be charmed by a girl who falls on her ass or (conveniently) spills coffee over her white blouse and winds up flashing her nips. I'm going to feel uncomfortable. By the same token, I'm not going to love a heroine who is too fragile or has a bin load of issues and insecurities that colour every moment of her life. I won't find her sympathetic. It's not going to make me like or respect her. If she's also passive-aggressive or self-pitying or judgy, stick a fork in me because I am done.
Did the writer hate Maggie and want us to hate her, too? Mission accomplished, then.
She was shameful and embarrassing, the perpetual victim who would always need rescued.
When the moment came where she could have changed my mind she cowered instead, as per. The writer took the easy way out here by having hero Will ride in on a white horse - AGAIN - and slay her stupid dragon.

Poor Will. He was the one with real, debilitating issues and needed the most help, but not only was he was painted as the bad guy most of the time he was always bailing out that silly cow. How trite, and sadly typical.

It bears questioning why in the current climate women continue to be portrayed as victims. I honestly don't care if my taking offense to that brands me an arsehole. It's insulting that my own gender perpetuates the idea that strong women who like themselves and don't allow the bad acts of others define them are somehow undesirable. Like the only way a heroine can be relatable or likable is if she's weak and needy and full of self-loathing.

There were other issues with this story for certain, but I won't bother with those. The deal-breaker for me from the start was the heroine and all her contrivances. That was more than enough for me to justify my rating, and my reasons for avoiding the writer in future.

The end of Discreet had me begging for more and Nicole French was generous enough to grant Indiscreet fairly fast, and she didn’t disappoint.

In this book we see the other side of Will’s life. The life he tried so hard to avoid and leave behind. Now he’s back and with it all his demons and fears. Maggie is also vulnerable, more than in the previous book, so we see both MC fighting for their HEA. And fight they did. I have to be honest, I truly wanted to shake Maggie at some point. I wanted her to show her claws, to claim Will and b%#€ slap Amelia and Tricia. But I understand her insecurities stem from deep within her because of her childhood and previous relationships. I still wanted to shake her though...it wasn’t until the end when I saw that fight and she, in my eyes, redeemed herself. Will was frustrating also, but he was pretty clear with what he wanted: Maggie. That’s all he wanted. And I felt for both of them when their reality with Will’s profession crumbled at their feet. I can’t say more about that cuz spoilers, but I wanted to kill someone!!!

So those were my “issues” with Indiscreet. Now let me tell you the many pros of this duet.
First of all, as I said before, the author brings to light current issues in our society that most people avoid or try to, in romance books. We see racism, rape, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, and the big role of social media just to mention some. I know it’s fictional romance, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Sadly, it does and too often for my liking. While writing something beautiful, this author is creating awareness of how hard being different is for people like Maggie. And the fact that she portrays that struggle not being a minority herself, is truly to be admired.
Also, I LOVEEEE the ending. I can’t elaborate but it’s just the perfect ending. I can’t wait for the extended epilogue! This book squeezed my heart and then made it soar. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with, Nicole French!

I don't know if y'all saw me gushing over DISCREET. If not, check it out HERE. And you know I was left wanting, right? Well, I was gifted an ARC of Indiscreet, so I got to jump in and get all my answers right away. But ladies...book lovers.... READERS.... haaaaaaaaaaaaaaloooooooooooo. THIS IS HOW YOU COMPLETE A DUET.

The trials these two go through. I mean, we though Will was clingy in the first book, he's not changed much here. She's still the air he needs to breathe. She is the key to his survival in the crazy world of Hollywood. But...what do we do when we lose our way? When we lose our North Star? Or rather, what do we do when we push them away, unintentionally? Talk about a crash. It's almost like Will knew he was hitting rock bottom, and he needed to take Maggie down with him, but she just refused to crash and burn. Unfortunately you can only save yourself. You can't save someone until they're ready to be saved. And this, this is a hard lesson Maggie learns in this book. In more than one relationship. In an odd way, I feel like Maggie grew a lot in this book.. She went from always caving to Will and his wants and needs, to standing up for what she wants or need....all while maybe, just maybe still giving him a little something he is asking for.

Now, in this book, we've got a new villain in town and ladies, I wanted TO BURN HIM TO THE GROUND. I was like someone HOLD ME BACK. This man is like a freaking annoying puppeteer that you just can't cut the strings from. Oh but how the mighty fall. It may take a while, but those men get what's coming to them. Okay, maybe not like that. But we see Will protect what's his, and to me... it's like it's about damn time Will. Where's this Will been? ? I feel like our Will disappeared there for a while and had to fight to get back to not only Maggie, but himself.

I can say, by the end, these two end up saving each other in almost any way possible. And here I am still longing for more.

Gimme more Will and Maggie danggggggggggggggggg itttttttttttt

This book. My heart. So much pain. So much heartache. So much love..

This book ripped my heart out and shattered it into pieces over and over again. This soul wrenching story took me on an emotional ride that made me feel it all. I felt the characters pain down deep in my soul. I cried for them, I felt as if I was right there by their side experiencing everything they went through.

But beyond the pain came joy and love... so much love. So bold, buoyant and beautiful. So touching, perfectly written and refreshing. Indiscreet took my heart on a journey that I loved every moment of.

Will and Maggie has gone through so much. .So many people tried bringing them down, and they went through ups and downs, but they never let it destroy their relationship. It’s real and raw. This story is gripping and emotional.

All the words. All the feels. I devoured this book from beginning to end with no stops. I couldn’t let go of this world that Nicole French has written. It’s all consuming. The characters are in my heart, and they will be there for a very long time.

This duet is everything. Both books are full of beauty and pain. Both books are full of love and hurt. Both books are incredible. Both books held my heart hostage, and still does.

6 stars to this phenomenal book. I wish I could give it more. It deserves all the stars. I’m in love with this story, with the characters, with how it makes my heart feel full and happy.

Nicole French has gone above and beyond, and I’m glad I got to read this story. Such a unique and refreshing read that will have you in an emotional mess, but in a good way. It has to be experienced. It’s worth every tear and much more.

Thank you Nicole for this amazing duet. Thess characters will forever be in my heart.

Indiscreet is the second part of the ‘Discreet’ duet by Nicole French, it takes up a few weeks after the ending of book 1 (Discreet). Maggie’s back in the one place she never thought she’d return to and things just aren’t how she expected them to be. She left Will and now she has no idea what do.
She and Will have a hard road to travel to get back together.
Will has been searching for her ever since she ran away from him at Newman Lake, so when Benny gives him the news he’s been hoping for, he’s out the door in a second.
But, things have changed. Now, the world knows he’s still alive, Will- or Fitz and the paparazzi call him can’t go anywhere without protection. Not even to get him girl.
This book is filled with some heart-stopping moments, some that will gut you, some will make you laugh. There’s plenty of angst and frustration as well as an abundance of love and devotion.
It’s only when the ugly side of Will’s life rears its head that things start to spiral out of control. And they only get worse. Will shows a side of himself that was less than stellar.
But, it was Maggie’s new that really pulled the pin on their relationship, and sent her back to the beginning.
Can true love conquer all just like in the movies?
Well! That would be telling, lol, but suffice to say. I loved this duet and can’t recommend it highly enough
If you’re looking for a light-hearted easy read, best try somewhere else. But, if you want a book with meat and bones, this is the one for you, just make sure you read both books.

Indiscreet is a well written romance, that had my heart racing from both the hotness factor and the emotion. The story picks up from where book one of the duet, Discreet, leaves the reader. Now the world knows Will's secret, it is time for our pair to face the consequences of Will's actions four years ago.

Will and Maggie are beautiful together, their love is strong, yet not struggle free. I felt a real connection with Maggie. She is always looking out for everyone else in her life, but she desperately wants to find her own place in the world. Her life is based on the needs of others, Will included, and I enjoyed witnessing her growth throughout this duet.

Will is swoon-worthy, rich, famous, talented and the sexiest man alive. However he is also more than a traditional book hero. I loved that Will had his faults, he is a realistic man that makes mistakes and seeks forgiveness.

Set in the glitzy fake world of Hollywood, the build up to the climactic explosion in the plot was heartwrenching. The emotional impact was delivered, so much so that I want to reach into my kindle, smack Will across the face and kick him in the balls. I was unable to put this book down at 75%, the punches coming so hard and fast I needed to see how Maggie would survive, to see if her strength of character would shine through.

I really enjoyed reading Indiscreet and look forward to reading more by Nicole French.

Oh, my heart. Nicole your stories get me everytime and now Will and Maggie's is one I adore with all my might. I cannot express my gratitude and love for this book enough but I'll give it a damn go!!

It starts continuing from Discreet (the first book in this duo), it's and emotional rollercoaster from Will no longer being able to stay in the shadows and Maggie feeling the after effects of the world outside finish out the truth.

Without many spoilers, this story is a bringing together of two broken souls, that just want to find peace in their world where they were never allowed to just be. To just have a normal life, with minimal drama.

With wanting that life so much Will and his Lily come together to fight for the freedom, even when obstacles come their way, they're not willing to let these ignorant people put them down or apart.

There are so many loving moments, so many emotional moments and so many moments where you just keep wanting more.

Nicole's writing is so artistic in the way it speaks a thousand words with only a single word or line. I love reading for this reason of being engulfed into these well developed characters and their minds.

I totally recommend the entire Discreet Duet to be read and all other Nicole French books!!

This is the conclusion to this duet and what an amazing ending it is. I mean I laughed and I cried and I yelled at my kindle because this is one emotional ride.

The story continues where Discreet leaves off. Will's secret is out and after four years in hiding he is back and people have lot's of questions for him. They want to know what happened to him and why he went off the grid. Will is quiet about where he has been and why and that makes him more intriguing to the paparazzi. Plus he comes back with a girl by his side and they want to know who she is and where she came from and is she the one to tame his playboy ways.

Maggie has fled from her family and she feels good because she wants nothing to do with them. But when she finds out who Will really is she is pissed off and rightfully so because she is not sure she can be everything Will needs. All the secrets and lies come out and Will is fighting to keep Maggie but she is skeptical about Will and her because he was such a playboy. Maggie is wondering if he can change his ways and be with her and her alone.

Will is determined to fight like hell for Maggie because she is the one for him and no one else. Maggie is his begining and end his morning and his night. She belongs to him and he will prove it.

I hate ending this author's books, so I did what I could to prolong it, but inevitably ran out of words anyway. She is such a wonderful storyteller, she brings you right in to where ever she's talking about, I've never been to LA but I'd swear I had seen it through Maggie's eyes. The sights and sounds and smells so vivid they are real in my mind. And Will and Maggie? I wanted to smack them upside the head with my Kindle at different parts. So stubborn, can't see the forest through the trees type of stuff. It gave me emotions writing usually doesn't stir up in me, but thats the kind of masterful, beautiful storytelling I've come to expect from this author now, and why she stays at the top of my one-click author list. The main characters journeys are fraught with obstacles but poignant with plenty of lessons along the way. They don't always make the right choices, or the easy choices, but I think thats what makes her stories so great is the amount of effort she puts into making her characters WORK toward their HEA. Or she enjoys our (her readers) collective tears, it could be either or lol.

Will and Maggie are a couple that started out unlike any other couple I have ever read! Maggie encroached on Wills isolation and for that he hated her! He wanted peace, quiet and to go unnoticed but from the second Maggie laid eyes on him she saw EVERYTHING! When secrets came out and the past came knocking the oasis that they created together was ruined but could it be salvaged!!

I absolutely loved how much Will depended on Maggie to keep him going! They both relied on the other and though at times it was unhealthy it was this attachment that also kept them stronger together! They knew that past hurts had changed who they were but together they were more than they’d ever been!

In discreet I called Maggie meek! She was always taking everything in and looking out for those around her but when the time came she was stronger than I could have ever imagined! She stood up for herself time and time again and fought for what she deserved! Will had a big personality and she knew she had to be even bigger to keep him balanced and that came out several times in this book! I will miss this couple so much and I hope to see little pieces of them here and there!

Do you know how many times I have started this review and then deleted all the words. Indiscreet left my heart rattled. I wish I can keep reading about the "after"of this story.

I adore the main characters and connected with them both. I may have became a little too possessive of Will too. When Amelia was back into the picture, I saw red. Nicole does an amazing job with this story. I was in a panic because I was not sure what the outcome would be for Will and Maggie. I was a wreck of all the emotions that I was feeling and was literally on the edge. At one point, I was heart broken for our main characters. I was not sure if they were losing themselves a bit. Will with his past and Maggie with her present.

indescribable is what I was feeling. Indiscreet has a lot of passion and at the end of the storm was the calm. I finished reading this book last night and I am still left in awe! This duet is Nicole French's best book yet! 10 sparkling Hollywood Stars from the book cover to the story itself.

Will and Maggie’s world is torn apart when his secret is revealed, and they are both left reeling. The one thing that Will does know is that he won’t be able to face his old life without Maggie by his side so that is his first priority. Maggie is devastated that Will lied to her and she wonders if the real man is the person she fell in love with or the celebrity that everyone else seems to know.

Having to face the media frenzy every day is taking a toll and although Will is used to the scrutiny all he wants to do is protect Maggie and he is worried if she will be able to handle it. They have a lot of obstacles to face and the only way they can survive is by sticking together but is the price of being a celebrity more than their love can bear?

Full of drama, emotion and romance it was great to see how Will handled everything that tried to tear them apart and Maggie came into own and emerged much stronger than when she started. This was a wonderful conclusion for this couple. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

If you haven't read Discreet then you need to put this down as it's the concluding part to a duet. It's not a standalone.. let me repeat that It's..not..a..standalone..

*ahem..*

once lost now found. Peace and tranquillity, anonymity a thing of the past.

A forever dream becoming a reality of nightmares. Vultures circling looking for scraps and morsels,

Beauty hidden now revealed, promises made as the puppet master pulls on the strings.

Trials, and tribulations. Control wavering, the past becoming the future. The world closing in.

Wow! what an action packed fast paced hypnotic read.

Characters that pull at your heart strings with a childhood that you wouldn't wish on anyone.

This duet is an epic story of finding yourself and knowing your heart.

It's beautiful and scary at the same time. Tragic and sorrowful with a strong flowing currant of realism.

A book in a class of its own and five stars doesn't do it justice!

Indiscreet by Nicole French
“Will they make it in the spotlight? 5 stars”

Will may have left something important out when he started to get serious about Maggie, but that’s in the past and he will do whatever it takes to keep his girl. Maggie and Will have an uphill battle ahead of them. Will Maggie’s insecurities get the best of her? Will the Hollywood life get to Will?
There is so much I could say about Indiscreet but I won’t. I refuse to give anything away. French sucks us into the story and the couple and makes us readers want it all. Discreet and Indiscreet is just one of those duets you need to read. French covers a wide range of topics between the two books. It would be a shame if you didn’t read them.
Plot-5/5
Characters-5/5
Heat-5/5
Writing style-5/5
Overall-5/5

Nicole French never ceases to amaze me. I am always so drawn into everything she writes from the beginning! She really knows how to suck you in, break your heart, yet leave you whole again and wanting more.

Will and Maggie both have pasts full of obstacles and now their future if full of new ones. We really get inside their heads as individuals and as a couple and at times you will probably want to throw your book/nook/kindle/etc. This book may even be better paired with a glass of wine because goodness knows you are probably going to need it to calm your heart and emotions. haha

I can't wait to reread this duet and get even closer to these two whom I quickly fell in love with. <3

I loved this book; what a finish. Sometimes they both made me wanna scream, it was obvious they loved and cherished each other - but, then Will's mommy dearest steps back into his life and the ex-fiancé - what a pair of b*tches!!!!! I hated them. Tragedy strikes and pulls them back together, then pulls them apart - feelings are hurt and misunderstood. But, in the end they are together, with careers going in completely different directions then they though possible - but they are together. Geez I didn't want the story to end. Nicole is a writer that just doesn't quit, all the feels are there and she certainly delivers.

The perfect ending to this duet. 5 Stars are not enough. The reader finally gets the answers they were looking for with Will and Maggie. But when Will is forced to go back to become the actor instead of the recluse will the relationship fall apart? Will Maggie now see only the traits left in Will that he never wanted to have again? Will the stardom, pressure and paparazzi cause hatred to win over love? Nicole French has outdone herself once again with a heart wrenching saga that the reader cannot help but shed tears over. Her story telling has locked me in as a reader and I look forward to reading more and more from her.
