About the author

A.M Torres is the author of 10 books. The first of these books; Love Child which was first published in 2011. Love Child is a book in Fiction/Suspense category. It was given a good review by Midwest Book Review who described it a "A tragic story of standing up for oneself, Love Child is a fine and very much recommended read." Her second book was Love Child's sequel Child No More, and the third book Child Scorned. A.M Torres remaining books are holiday themed poetry books which include poems and short stories. Each of these books are under the J and K theme (the initials of her two children)two being Christmas J and K Christmas, and J and K Christmas 2013, and J and K Valentine. J and K Christmas 2013 received four stars from Readers Favorite. She also published two poetry books Shadowed Tears, and Turmoil. A.M Torres earned her Bachelors Degree at Ashford University and is the mother of two children Jason and Kristofer. She is currently working on fourth book in the Child Series Child Game.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. I thank you for making it available to me this way. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of poems. I felt many emotions while reading. The poem that stood out to me was Mother. You can tell the pain behind it and it made me feel some type of way.
