I think it is a sign that the first book recommended for me as I begin to post this review is titled, "Never Again"--I listened to these books on audio--and have to admit I might have enjoyed the narration and the "voice" for Xander Jackson.
BUT--I feel like I have been through the winger due to so many of the things wrong with this series--seriously--I understand wanting to keep your readers aware of what is happening--but consider your audience! The characters could be so much--with proper development and having a leading character with so many super powers who makes demands and has her way with ever challenge is too much.. and who takes the time to describe the walk through the restaurant to the restroom before answering the phone... and the slip into the paranormal--what a cop out!
Lily was defeated.

So am I.

I felt like this was a prelude to yet one more "still..." book. But I am out.

I’m not sure if this is the last book in the series but the entire series was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience at best. The ending was disappointing and wrapped just a bit too “happily ever after”

Then ending was a bit abrupt, but I am glad that there was resolution. I enjoyed this series and will check out more by this author.

Hard to read in the beginning, and the plot is always the same. The end finally brought it all together but slow start.
