Jasmine is a wicked and immoral person who gets what she wants regardless of who she has to hurt. She has done many unpleasant things to people in the past and as a result now has many old secrets. Jasmine marries, Mr. Hosea Bush, a minister, who has accepted Jasmine's devilish ways. Hosea stuck with Jasmine through good and bad times and accepted the past as the past as they tried to maintain a healthy marriage together as a family. Jasmine's daughter, Jacqueline, was the main reason that Hosea stayed with Jasmine. When Natasha reappears in Hosea's life, all hell begins to break loose. She begins to intimidate Jasmine with her little skills and tactics to gain Hosea's love. Jasmine is no fool, though. Game always recognizes game!
Brian Lewis, the father of Jasmine's child's, has problems with his wife, Alexis. She thinks that he is being unfaithful to her. Brian is forced to prove to her otherwise, and that may entail digging up old secrets from the past.
"Too Little, Too Late" by Victoria Christopher Murray is an excellent read. It is one of the best sequels I've read! This book is definitely a page turner and I will be looking forward to more of Murray's books in the future. Keep up the good work!
There is an abundance of conflict and action in Too Little, Too Late, and as is typical of Ms. Murray's writing style, nothing is predictable and every chapter is eventful and tense. There are never any sagging middles or boring chapters in one of her novels. I love how the author twists things around and weaves powerful lessons into all of her stories. Lessons about love and faithfulness, trust and forgiveness.
Too Little, Too Late has an ending that will leave you breathless, yet there is also a bittersweet feeling you get by the time you reach the last page. Yes, life is messy, and temptation is everywhere. The issue of addiction is handled extremely well and is accurately portrayed.
In the midst of their struggles these believeable character discover that God is always in their midst no matter how awfully they behave. They realize that His love is unconditional and if they reach out to Him, He will meet them where they are. That is so true-to-life. What a great read. A bit on the sizzly side with some major eyebrow-raising scenes, but I like that kind of romance, and in this regard Ms. Murray never dissapoints.
Another good read by the great writer, Victoria Christopher Murray. This book was based on the book of Hosea from the bible and how Hosea obeyed God to take Gomer (Jasmine) as his wife in spite of all that she's put him through. If you love VCM writings and good Christian fiction, then I highly recommend this book.
It's the disease--Jasmine & Natasia if I did not know better would of thought they could of been twins they both were similar in ways of deception. Daddy Bush would of never thought would of been a "Fan of Jasmine". I still don't care for Brian Lewis.
It takes a strong person to forgive and forget. The truth is, although a person forgives, they most likely never forget. Can you forgive your mate for past transgressions and move forward in life, happily ever after? If your mates transgressions were the result of a compulsive disorder, could you trust them enough to save the relationship? These are just a few of the challenges the characters in Too Little, Too Late, must explore.
Too Little,Too Late was an enjoyable read, even though I learned after starting the book that it was a sequel to another book titled "A Sin and a Shame." In Too Little, Too Late, character Jasmine Larson Bush and her husband Hosea, are renewing their wedding vows after only three years of marriage. Their union didn't start out too well, considering their toddler daughter really isn't Hosea's. When past loves of Jasmine and Hosea return, emotions run wild, commitments are tested, and when the dust settles, two couples must learn to trust their mates in order to move forward. Sometimes love just isn't enough.
The storyline kept my attention from beginning to end, yet, I was left wondering why Jasmine kept her first marriage a secret from Hosea. After this omission, I had to question how a person can keep their true age from their spouse or why that was even an issue in the book.
All-in-all, Too Little, Too Late was a good book and worthy of a 4-star rating.
Jasmine bush is trying to repair her marriage from the last set of lies she told but as the saying once a liar always a liar. When her husband get an offer to go to New york Jasmine is afraid that her past will finally meet her future. What she doesn't know is that her husband might have a few secrets of his own. When all truths finally hit the surface it might be a little to late.
I have read this series from the beginning and I have been on the edge of my seat. These characters will have you saying every word that saints shouldn't say lol. I loved how is drama filled and keeps you wanting more.
This book is so juciey I don't even know where to begin. This is a good way to show what goes around comes around it can be quite nasty especially if your a bad ass clean up your ways decided to follow Jesus and everything you've been forgiven for comes back to bite you in the be hind but thats the way it goes..
wow I have to say this story was drama filled I love them like that. There is no way I wouldve been able to stay with a man who has cheated on me with over 200 women that is crazy. i give it five stars :)
This Jasmine character has just captivated me, Im nothing like her, but yet I feel sorry for her. Cant wait to read thd next book, I know Im behind in this serious, but catching up has been fun...... :)
I really enjoyed this book! This is a great book for life lessons to teach you the importance of honesty in your relationships. Victoria Christopher Murray has again brought drama to Los Angeles.
Hosea wanted to renew their wedding vows so they could start fresh. But Jasmine knew she had to keep her lies a secret about being married once before from Hosea. He found out he was not Jacqueline father so he decided to legally adopt her as his daughter. She lied about her child, lied about every being married once before and lied about her age. If you lie, you'll cheat, and if you cheat, you will steal. So where is the trust and how can you expect anyone to ever believe you. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.
The narrator did a good job. This book centered more on those who are affected by Jasmine's actions and not so much on her. The author did a good job of showcasing how your actions can affect those around you positive or negative. The positive the turn around in Mai Francis. The negative the fall out from Jasmine's many lies and schemes and when past relationships remain unresolved. A decent listen.
I read this without having read the first two (or I've read them so long ago that I don't recall, because I do remember reading about Jasmine and Hosea before, now that I think about it). I liked the bite-sized chapters and the interweaving of the two couples. Jasmine's final revelations at the end were a little 'ehh' for me but I get what the overall was (that she'd made the revelations at all). Overall, enjoyed it.
Great continuation of the series. Hosea is an ideal husband. God is truly on Jasmine's side. I just wish she would continue on the right path....I thought Alexis made a wise decision. Preparing to read the next segment soon.
I did like the book, even though towards the end it seemed like it was dragging a little bit. I felt like this book could’ve been wrapped up in a lot less chapters. However, it was still well written and great seeing what Jasmine was up to next. She definitely met her match in this book.

I am a little late jumping on the Jasmine train, but I am certainly on board now. Jasmine Larson seems to finally be getting her life on track. Fully devoted to her husband, her daughter, and the Lord, she is finally doing all the right things. But with all her might, she is hoping and praying that her past lies will not catch up to her. However, she soon realizes that those should be the least of her concerns. Enter: Hosea's attractive ex, who also happens to be a new producer for his television show. Jasmine immediately recognized the threat she poses because she sees so much of her old ways in Natasia.
In this story, Jasmine goes from having all together, to having it all fall apart. Her only hope is that she can once again pull her pieces back together in time to once again save her marriage.
Another beautifully written story by one of my favorite authors. VCM never fails to pull me in from the very beginning. I cannot wait to read Lady Jasmine (the next installment in the series) and finally get into the joint ventures by RTB and VCM - the Jasmine/Rachel saga.
Jasmine Larson Bush returns to her devious ways with lies and betrayal.
Jasmine is still hiding secrets to keep her husband, Minister Hosea Bush, by her side.
"Too Little, Too Late" by Victoria Christopher Murray is an excellent read. It is one of the best sequels I've read! This book is definitely a page turner I missed my favorite show “ Scandal” reading this book. I was up all night until 2 in the morning reading this book. Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmine I just don’t know what to say. I recommend you add this book to your list of books to read
What God put together, let no man try to pull apart. Natasha tried everything to get Hosea but in the end she ends up with what she started with....NOTHING! Jasmine has finally spilled all her lies and now can walk with the truth on her side.
This book was great, even though there were sometimes I wanted to bop Hosea upside the head. I love the writing and spiritual values Victoria brings to her books. I
I enjoy all of this author's book. My book club read this for our July meeting and it lead to a wonderful discussion and self discovery throught he process. Jasmine is something else. Can't wait to read Lady Jasmine.
Jasmine is back! She is still bringing the drama into her marriage with Hosea but this time she has someone who is waiting to take her spot...Natasha, Hosea's ex. It was nice seeing Jasmine squirm about the state of her marriage since she has once been a homewrecker.
It's the disease--Jasmine & Natasia if I did not know better would of thought they could of been twins they both were similar in ways of deception. Daddy Bush would of never thought would of been a "Fan of Jasmine". I still don't care for Brian Lewis.
Book Three in the series of events for Jasmine Larson was hands down Awesome, I couldn't believe some of the things that occurred in Brian & Alexis marriage but glad that things worked out for Jasmine & Hosea..... Can't wait to finish the series :-)
