Amazing, captivating, suspenseful, Epic, these are the words that best describe Dirtier Than Ever. Allow me to be different, this novel is the s**t, point blank period! Vickie Stringer has done it again, and this time the twists and scenarios are even more thrilling. Raven Gomez is dirtier than ever, she utilizes her wits and skills to get revenge on those that tried to get the best of her. Red is a manipulating, smart and conniving beauty that is incomparable to any character in another book. She is the reigning queen of revenge. Vickie has created this novel that makes you feel apart of Red’s world, you can feel her pain, her hunger to reach the top and also get inside her vindictive state of mind.

Have you ever read a novel that gets boring by the third book? What makes this book AMAZING is that when reading this, that “first time” feeling overcomes you! I couldn’t get the book out of my face; I finished the book within a day and a half, which is the reason why I say this book is CAPTIVATING!

Do you always guess what’s going to happen next when you’re reading a book? I am a book psychic but I couldn’t figure out what is going to happen next for the life of me! There are so many twists and turns but the pieces were put together so gracefully! SUSPENCEFUL is actually an understatement; the plots will leave you in awe.

Vickie has masterminded a novel that is beyond EPIC. This novel is like no other. Vickie paints a vivid picture of Reds struggle and why she is the way she is. I have no doubt in my mind that book 4 is going to be as phenomenal as the first 3 books. Red has come along way losing and gaining what she’s worked for, taken and put her life on the line for, and she won’t stop until she has eliminated everyone her path that stops her from succeeding! Ms. Stringer has proven with this novel that she and Ms. Red are the reigning queens of doing the game DIRTY!!

Readers are reintroduced to Bacon who has just gotten out of prison and ready to put his plan into action. Bacon will stop at nothing to get what he believes he deserves. Quincy has gotten out of the game. He has let his feelings for Raven Gomez better known as Red die. Quincy was relieved to be done with Red until she pays him one last visit.

Red realizes the true meaning of karma when she is once again stuck in a bad situation with Bacon’s name written all over it. Bacon tends to forget how much of a fighter Red is and that her mind is always working in survival mode. When all is said and done, will Red have the last laugh?

Dirtier Than Ever is about suspenseful revenge. The characters are still up to no good, which makes for an exciting book of twists and turns. Readers will enjoy this page-turning book of entertainment. Having followed the series from the beginning it has become more intriguing as the characters and their wrongdoings unfold. I recommend Dirtier Than Ever to urban and street-lit fans.

I was so exhausted in a great way to read this book i took it on interviews,laudromat,everywhere i went so i could finish it.All the characters practically jump out the book at me.I wanted to know what happen next before it happen all the twist and turns had me screaming for more.I loved it and trying to get my husband to read it but to start from the begining first and work his way up to Dirtier Than ever where you still want more what happens to Red!!!!Loved it.An awesome book!!1 please bring me/us the next book.

over all i was in love with this book i couldn't stop reading it whats so ever. i love the way that it was told, i also could follow along with the story and different scenes. every chapter it switched to a different setting. even though i read it out of order i was still able to comprehend the story and understand what was going on.

I was very disappointed with this book. I really think that this saga can end. The character is all over the place and no real continuity. It may be because it's been a while since the last sequence of the series. Not a good read too choppy.

What can one say, you can’t keep a (good) woman down. Least that’s what Red think. Of course I have no ideal how this series will end, but this lady feels vengeance is all hers. In my opinion, Bacon deserved his pay and so did Blue. She has her faults but what can I say, it’s a dog eat world and we all know nothing comes free. She was wrong for how she played Detective Thomas and Q. But let’s see who gets her first Catfish or Malik and his girlfriend. At the rate she’s going, it’s obvious she can run but she can’t hide.

Red just gets more grimmer and dirtier as the book unfolds she has loyalty to no one but herself. In this book we find Red with her web of lies and deceit and no one is safe. Just when you think Red has given up she doesn’t. This book is hard to put down and is truly a page turner I’m starting the next book in the series.

So as you become engrossed with Dirtier Than Ever you will be entertained with Red's reasoning for doing the things that she does. But, is her time running out? Will she be able to execute mishaps on ruthless people and escape unscathed?

Red is as dirty as dirt can get. She put the capital S in scandalous and the N is naive...doesn't she know the law of gravity, that what goes up must come down? Has she ever heard that what goes around, comes around? Will Red meet her demise? Will she pay for the grief she has inflicted and caused others? Well, if we are to find out, then we will have to wait for the next installment of The Red Series to see how it all plays out.

Dirtier Than Ever, was a pleasurable and quick paced read for this reader. However, there were times that the book was quite superficial, deficient of any real foundation, but it was still entertaining enough to anxiously turn the pages. As usual, the cliff hanger will have the reader anticipating the next installment of this series.

Once again I ate this up! Vickie has a way of making you love and hate Red all at once. I have recommended this series to people who I know that love to read.

I'm happy that Q didn't let Red off the hook this time although I thought he would for a minute there. And Red was so wrong for what she did to Terry and Officer Thomas, I trully feel bad for them. I hated Kera in this book, in Still Dirty I liked Kera but she lost her mind in this one. I like that we finally got to hear from Catfish in all the other books he was like this invisible guy that people talked about but never showed up. Bacon... *sigh* Bacon, no words for how stupid he trully is.

I would have given the book 5 stars but the typos and inconsistencies were just sloppy. The way Mekel went from Mekel Chambers to Mekel Simmons (when Red reported him to CPS) then back to Mekel Chambers, sloppy. And the small typos like "sad" instead of "said". It was just laziness and trying to do things too fast.

The book itself was great though.

I thought it was a good book but I definitely think the series could have ended here with Red at the end moving to a new location and starting a new life. I also wasn't quite sure what the point was in introducing Trap and Quisha. Those chapters could have been eliminated and we would have never known. Kind of feel like the story is being dragged on but I am looking forward to reading the final novel and see where it goes.

Street Lit is not my cup of tea, but why do authors have to degrade us with the "B" and "N" words. Then placing the stepfather in a bad light our black men have it hard enough as it is. In the first 10 chapters the "B" words was used over twenty-five times, and I'm sure I missed some.
