This is an excellent resource for planning teen spaces in a library, either public or school. Great examples and tips through the entire process from gaining support to planning to implementation and to programs. I loved how the book emphasized teen support and help in all stages of the processes. They are the ones to use the area so they should help design it. It offers a lot of photos and examples from actual libraries around the country.
Not exactly riveting--the plot's pretty thin and the characters pretty much non-existent. But if you're thinking about renovating the teen space in your public library, this book has a lot of good suggestions--not just of things to do or not do, but things to think about and consider while you're at it.
