Reading this book will make you familiar with the fashion world. You will learn some keywords in fashion designing, and will understand whom should a fashion designer work with.
The book is perfect for people/students without any previous information about fashion, who want to know a little about it, in order to understand whether they like fashion or not.

This book was a useful guide for the fashion industry albeit an inapplicable one for the daily life of a fashion designer. I enjoyed mainly the portions of this book dedicated to discussing the development process. The sections pertaining to sales and marketing got tiresome and lengthy and were not incredibly useful for me personally. Overall, it was a good introduction to fashion and the fashion industry.

Criticizing this book would be like kicking a puppy around the room. It gives a fun, easy gloss overview of the clothing and fashion industry. Nice pictures.
