An excellent read about how African women fought against slavery on Jamaica and other islands of the Caribbean. It is a short read (64 pages) but the text is small and tight. The material is dense, by that I mean that it is chock full of facts.

It's an old book that may be out of print - fortunately I was able to read a copy through inter-library loan. If you can get a copy it's worth the read.
