An above average volume of this series with a solid plot a little less action then normal but enough. Gadgets is at a fantasy baseball camp and while there he meets his idol who is in some trouble. Through that he and thus Able Team jump into a massive drug case with the DEA already on the case. Seems that a new drug organization is starting using all the local gangs as muscle. So Able Team does what they do and start forcing the issue.

Recommended, it's a nice one shot but people who are normal readers of the series may like it better.

The men of Able Team are taking some much needed vacation time to rest up and recover from injuries from one of their cases. Gadgets Schwartz decides to attend baseball camp where he is able to meet up with his childhood hero. He has no idea that this aging ballplayer is in trouble and that he is about to unwittingly step into a very dangerous situation.

Gadgets gets most of the action in this one, including the romantic interest… Lyons grumbles and a lot of bad guys get shot. Boxes ticked.
I still think Able Team et al would make a cracking TV series…

A spin off series from his Executioner books. This series follows several secondary characters that band together. Recommended
