Duff and his sister Dixie are trying to find a place to start a horse ranch and you'd think that wouldn't be that hard to do with the territories that opened up during the Civil War. But when you have something that is in short supply, basically really great horses, there is always going to be a least One man who wants what you have and doesn't care what he has to do to get it. The sensible thing to do would be to stay out of his way, but sensible is not always the right way to get away with your life when nobody plays by the same rules. AWESOME, AWESOME READ!!!!

When a horse gets used to running free, no amount of training can tame him. Especially if he is a stallion with a large following of mares. This book is another great story in The Horseman Series.
