OMG!!!! That Which Survives is a story that will definitely keep you glued to your reader and holding on to your seat. I usually read romance and stepped outside of the box to read something different and I'm so glad I did...but then it is written by Ciana Stone so you know it has to be one hell of a ride. Senna lost her parents when she was fifteen through brutal means, then lost the next two years of her memory. Now she is physics professor at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and dating Ryan, a homicide detective while living a simple life. When two old colleagues and friends are murdered in the same fashion and she is the only link and her life becomes not so simple now. When Senna meets Konnor, a karate instructor, she feels drawn to him on a level she has never felt before. Konnor has secrets of his own to keep and now he is being dragged back in for a mission to save mankind but who is he to trust. Senna and Konnor have a connection to the past but it is locked in their lost memories but there is someone who doesn't want them to remember and someone who will stop at nothing to get what is locked in their minds. Senna is dragged through hell and back by betrayal from the people closest to her and now she's not even sure who she is anymore, the only constant in her life is Konnor but can she be sure of who he is or what he wants. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys??? Will Konnor still want her after he finds out what her life was like and what she went through??? Senna is a stronger woman than she knew herself to be. Get comfy and be prepared for a ride of your life because this is not your usual whodunit story. Packed with action, suspense, some hotness, a touch of paranormal and of course a psycho with an obsession. One click your copy now and hang on.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and loved every minute of it!!
Thank You Ciana Stone for this amazing story

Śenna Laserian is a Physicist and a teacher at the University of North Carolina she is living a simple life she believes with her Aunt Minora and she's dating Detective Ryan Dalton And they seem to be happy lbut their relationship is not at all exciting for some reason Ryan's partner sees this but he doesn't but Senna does. She has never in the year and half they have been dating has ever had an orgasm or introduced him to her aunt. Ryan and Paige his partner are working a murder case and find that Senna 's knows the man too. He Is a dear friend She Is questoned but has no information. It seems other murders are happening and Senna knows them all. They attend a party and she sees Konnor Chase she met through Ryan but It is something about him that scares and arouses her at the same time. She finds Ryan and his partner kissing in the library, she literally runs into Konnor and asks him to take her away,, things change for them as well for her and Ryan and Ryan and Paige. More murders and intrigue are happening all the time. Project Sumer is part of the reasons the murders are happening but the cover-up is so confusing no one except the bad guys really know what is going on. "Oh My God" this Is A Fascinating, Awesome, Fantasy Romantic Suspense. "10stars" I was given a copy as a gift from author. I am providing an honest review without obligation.

This is a captivating tale filled with mystery, suspense and passion. It’s a roller coaster of emotions with surprising twists and unexpected turns. The story’s plot thickens as you move from scene to scene and more pieces of the puzzle are revealed. Just when you think you know what’s going on, you’ll be faced with fascinating confusion while the mystery only deepens as you try to figure out who can be trusted and who cannot. There are deeds too evil to imagine and Senna seems to be at the center of it all. Will she turn out to be the salvation or the end of all mankind? And what role does Konnor really play in all this?

These are questions that will be answered at the end, but for me the ending was not what I expected and left me wondering if there’s more to come. It’s the reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars. I read this as part of a box set entitled “Holding on for a Hero.” At the end of the story, there’s no indication that there will be more to this storyline. Aside from my feelings at the end, this is a very entertaining story that will keep you at the edge of your seat for most of the book. I just felt the ending needed more or at least to know there’s more coming to the storyline.

First, I would like to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
One thing I love about Ciana Stone is she writes in many different genres for many different audiences. Even though I love her Romance Novels I really love her Mystery Suspense Novels as well. I think that is what makes her such an amazing author-that she can switch it up like that!
That Which Survives by Ciana Stone had me hooked on the first line of the prologue! My heart ached for the little girl and everything she went through and witnessed! She was scared out of her mind and had no clue what was happening.
The spark between Senna and Konnor I liked (I loved how Konnor was spelled). How there was sexual tension between them that Senna didn’t have with Ryan.
I didn’t like that Paige was rude to Senna but then again, we later found out she had a thing for Ryan.

Very suspenseful, adventurous and gripping. The mind boggling mystery of "That Which Survives" is full of so many twist and turns that as soon as you think you've figured it out, you haven't. I loved the intensity and build-up, to me it is actually a 5* read until the last few chapters, although they were shocking revelations, there was just so much going on that I felt it was overkill and a bit overwhelming. Even though this is fiction, I want to be able to understand exactly what the author is sharing and this overload of information at the end kind of broke the flow for my not so young brain, lol. Regardless it was worth a little less sleep due to the anticipation of wanting to know what happened next. Very well written, in-depth, consuming romantic suspense.

Oh. My. God...what an absolutely incredible read! This book definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Once again, Ciana Stone has gifted us with a novel which is indeed greater than the sum of its parts. That Which Survives is a psychological thriller with shades of science fiction wrapped around a love story with hints of the universal battle between good and evil. The storyline is beyond amazing; the characters sweep you along with them as good and evil struggle to take over the world. Toss in some fanatical power hungry rich men...and you can’t stop flipping those pages. This is a story that makes you think; makes you question; and one that deserves to be read more than once to uncover the layers hidden in the storyline. Don’t wait...grab your copy today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away by it!) ❤️❤️❤️

I received a complimentary copy of the book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I am just lost for the proper words for this wonderful book. Ms. Stone is an author that is a must read for me. Like with all of her books, I just get drawn in the web that is the plot. The twist and turns that you go through will keep you reading long into the night. The characters and the plot are ingenious.

If you are into complex stories that will keep you guessing, then this is one that you MUST read!!! I highly recommend.

This book was different from the other books I have read by Ms. Stone. There was a little bit of mystery, who was killing everybody? There was some romance - I am not going to give it away. There was even some oh my god moments, where I didn't see certain plot twists coming until ib read it on the page. Some was a little too sci-fi for my liking, but not enough to make me stop reading. Really good book. I think there will be at least one more book in this series.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

This book started out with so much potential. Then the story became really convoluted. It was hard to keep up with the people, and the situations. To be honest by 70% of the book, I was tired of reading it, but I had to finish.

I thought this was going to be a romantic suspense. I guess it was; along with a side of mystery and a side of science fiction.

I usually enjoy Ciana Stone's work, but this one ended up not being one of my favorites. I started out really enjoying it. It went on entirely too long. Finally, the ending was...... anticlimactic.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.

Great read as always! I am never disappointed by Ciana Stone. I enjoyed reading That Which Survives. Konner and Senna's story is very engaging and interesting. There is a lot to it and it isn't a typical romance. There is a lot of chemistry between the characters and a lot more to the story than romance. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre.

Terrific suspense romance with luscious characters. I love this author’s writing and stories. This story pulls you in from the tragic beginning and holds you until the end. Great mystery and intriguing storyline. Senna is a wonderful heroine. Smart, strong and resilient. Konnor grew on me as the story developed and he brings Senna to life. Such a hot hunk! Loved it!

I went into this book not knowing about the paranormal aspects. It was definitely an interesting read. There we too many significant characters that it was very confusing to follow at some points. The story started off fine, then slowed about 25% though that I almost gave up on it. The story did get better, but man there were so many plot twists that my head is still trying to recover.

I did not care for the fact that two seemingly main characters were both killed and that EVERYONE but Konnor had betrayed Senna....on top of that, every "bad guy" was dead by the end of the book except Slater, and honestly, he was taken out of the equation so long ago that I dont actually remember what happened to him...

There were too many paths that were followed and never completed...these paths and people just abruptly ended with that persons death or seemingly stupid betrayal......this book had so much potential but fizzled out about halfway through.  I continued reading it because i wanted to finish.  It gets two stars because it had potential...The more I think about it, the more I realized I just wasted the last two hours of my life finishing a book that sucked when I couldve been sleeping.

Im rarely so critical about books...but then again, I get what I paid for (which was nothing).

I loved all of the twists and turns to this book. I have read the previous book and loved it and Ciana does a fantastic job of carrying over from the previous book. These books are not cliff hangers but ones that picks up where the last journey ended. READ READ READ this book......once you start reading her books, you cannot put them down!
