When the spoiled daughter of an aristocrat socially embarrasses her father, she finds herself banished to the wilds of Canada, where she is challenged to transform herself from a pampered society miss into a penniless newcomer. Original.
This book was different from her other ones. Ive enjoyed the different change of pace and background. I do wish the author would tie the stories together a little better. It's not realistic. These people live in a tiny place, but you rarely have them in the story anymore. I did love the book.
My main disappointment in this book is that the ending should have been the middle. I fully expected there to be another book with Allison and Ben taking over for Mollie and Parker, but it seems as if Mrs. Glover got tired of writing about the people of Bliss. It ends when things were really getting interesting. I guess there's a lot to be said for leaving them wanting--it beats a disappointment.
It was an enjoyable book in itself. I agree with the other reviewer that said the ending of this book should have been in the middle. It would have been interesting to read more about Alison and Ben after they had met again. Also, being the last book in the series, I would have enjoyed hearing at least a mention of each of the main characters in the previous books.
