I was NOT impressed with this book. It was the typical stripper book. The author attempted to throw a twist into the book to cause a wow factor, sadly it fell flat. That being said, the book wasnt horrible. It was a "coasting" book. You could coast through it but you werent really wow'd.

Trust no one

Chanel Falls has the world given to here on silver platter; her Brother Charles Falls provides for her every need. Charles thought his little sister was too good for most guys and he believe she could do no wrong. When he does approve of one for her, it’s a business associate of his by the name of Brandon. Brandon is Chanel first lesson in life trust no one. When Charles is killed, Chanel has to learn to stand on her own two feet and she in for a surprise. When the novelty of being Charles little sister wears off, Chanel realizes that she is all alone in this cruel world. Jealously, back stabbing, lying has become of part of her everyday world as she tries not to be lured into the street life and eaten alive. As the saying goes, all money not good money.

Chanel makes the big bucks on her own and puts rest to the haters and proves she is still on top of her game. She NOW lives by the code C.R.E.A.M “cash rules everything around me.” We follow her as life lessons are learned and she has to live by the choices she makes, and the people she has allowed into her inner circle.

While this is the typical hood story that I have read before. Author Tenia Jamilla had a way of drawing me in and kept me flipping pages to see how the story was going to turn out. This novel is filled with betrayal, lust, revenge, dreams and chasing the all mighty dollar. We follow along as we find out what happens when a good girl goes bad. Check it out to see if Chanel can come back from her walk on the wild side.

This book was a creative expression of a combination of the betrayal and hurt that had been on my mind at the time mixed with either things I had seen, gone through or heard about up close and personal. It was graphic at times because I am not used to holding any punches. It may have discussed love but it was love from my viewpoint at the time. It may have pertained to strippers but it was my own portrayal of strippers. Most of all it was written with much emotion and after reading it back, I believe that is why most people who don't even own computers or those who don't make habits of reading often, enjoyed this book so much. EVERYONE CAN RELATE TO EMOTION, HATE IT OR LOVE IT....
