The Gospel Through the Ages

Rate this book
The Gospel Through the Ages will prove to be a timely, instructive and stimulating course of study. Its value, however, will extend beyond its immediate use as a Priesthood Quorum study course. Students of the Gospel will find it invaluable as a reference book. In fact, every home might well consider it a valuable addition to the family library for the use of young and old. - Ezra Taft Benson

Interesting to see how the emphasis on some things has changed. This book belonged to my grandfather.

This book is a combination of Gospel Principles and A Marvelous Work and Wonder. Yet, a good read.

Interesting book. I’m not sure it stands up to modern scholarship.

I remember reading this book from my dad's collection about 15 years ago. I recently acquired a signed copy and read through this book again. This is a Gospel classic and a valuable book that is often overlooked. Though its been a long time since its been in print - its explanations of vital gospel truths are some of the best I've read. I imagine with Priesthood manuals like these - Priesthood Quorum instruction was pretty lively back in the day!

Read this on my mission. It was great for its time. Been so long I can't remember details.
