The First Civilizations,by Giovanni Caselli, is a great book with a progressing organization. Most books about evolution of ancient humans progress from one thing to another{ as well as this book}but I think its a really fun thing as you start to see humans get smarter and more social. The illustrations were done by various artist with good drawings on the old times. The book tells interesting topics from Anthropogenisis the the early greek empire. Things started to get better during the bronze age ages they came up with new tools like the halbert{a combination spear, and hand axe, used for fighting in wars}. The book has exceptional info on the first cities art, and architecture. The First Civilizations explains what the current thought of what humans think that time was like. This book will leave you wondering what new things man kind will invent or a new civilization being built.
