TRIZ in the hands of someone trained in using them is an extremely useful toolset, but actually grasping hoe to use the methods is rather difficult. An experienced mentor probably will be needed

I heard a very successful business man talk about this process and had to check it out. I have often sought out an analytical way to solve problems and found it here. I have to admit I lack the ability to fully grasp all the techncals but hope to one day incorporate them into a system for creating products.

I bought this book thinking that it is all about the 40 TRIZ inventive principles and that these principles will be explained in great detail. It is instead a good introductory book for TRIZ.
