Sort of awesomely dated photos from 1991 of different kinds of shoes. My 1.5-year-old daughter is obsessed with shoes and loved this book the moment we picked it up at the library. I like the guessing game format and that the photo spread answers feature adults using the shoes (or in one case a horse) and the opposing page fractures a child with the shoes.

Cute book that Au enjoyed at 29 months. Even mom learned a thing or two about "whose shoe." I like that they use actual (though dated) photographs and at least some images of children of diverse backgrounds.

Guessing game on a (presumably) pre-school level, but the answers are really tricky (in my opinion), and it doesn’t help that the photos are from 1991.

Great, simple language and imagery for toddlers/preschoolers. Attention has been to paid to gender and racially balanced images as well.
