About the author

Diana G. Gallagher was an American author who wrote books for children and young adults. She also wrote the space opera The Alien Dark (1990), but was best known for her tie-in work for television properties including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Charmed, Star Trek and The Secret World of Alex Mack, among others.

She was also a prolific filk creator, winning Pegasus Awards in 1986 and ’94. Gallagher won a Hugo Award for Best Fan Artist in 1988 under the name Diana Gallagher Wu. She sometimes also wrote under the name Diana Burke.

Born in 1946, in Paterson, New Jersey, she lived in Florida with her husband, the writer Martin R. Burke, who predeceased her in 2011. Gallagher was married four times; her third marriage was to author William F. Wu (divorced 1990).

Gallagher died December 2, 2021 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at 75 years of age.

I enjoy these middle school characters and their adventures. The characters are plausible and fun and these books are inspiration for my own stories.

In this ok book Claudia Cristina Cortez Party By Diana G. Gallagher,Claudia's is having a party to get back at Anna for not inviting Claudia and her friends to her beach party. Claudia is planning the party at the Community Center and she needs $200 dollars to rent the pool room. Now she has everybody at the party. Anna and her friends came to Claudia's party. Will they have a blast?

This book is really good and for me is interesting.Is about the complicated life o Claudia Cristina Cortez that the popular girl from her school is throwing a party but she didnt invite Claudia and her friends and claudia got mad and she decide to do her own party for her and her friends,she didnt tell anyone about it because it was a party surprise.She has to babysit and walk dogs and done her homeworks and look for the money to rent the party room,is going to be a pool party so people could have fun and enjoy the party.This is a really good book and i learn alot here about friendship.

It was funny and awesome. In the the book, Claudia was hard working and worried that she won't have the money for her party. $100 for the party. 75 people, 4 Grown Ups. And Nick . Well the book was fun and I love it.

Claudia throws a party for the whole 7th grade but Anna and her friends just to show her how she felt when she didn't get invited to any of her parties.in order to get a party she rents a pool but has to pay 100$ for rent and 100$ for snacks.Claudia has to work non stop to get the money.
