Geraldine Hughes, the former secretary of Evan Chandler’s attorney in the 1993 child molestation allegations reveals the truth behind the case. She has come forth to set the record straight about what really happened behind those scenes, proving that Michael Jackson was NEVER a child molester or pedophile. In, this book, Hughes reveals facts that were never made public, court documented information, public statements and records that she insists prove MJ’s innocence. I find Ms Hughes’ work to be very reliable & well written. I do trust her.
Each chapter reveals key players, events leading up to the allegation and gives in depth description of the legal activities that led MJ’s attorney to settle. Settling is NOT an admission of guilt, know that. The chapters consist of all the facts to be known and redeem an innocent man's character, clearing him of the cloud of guilt that hung over him for years. Justice can only be served after the truth is told. Read this to learn what really happened. Don’t be so quick judge someone because of what you read or hear or because you think they are weird, etc. Before you judge him, before you come down on him, try really hard to remember to remember all the goodness he has done. Michael Jackson was a human being, he had a heart and he had feelings. He was an awesome artist, Human being, role-model and so more. He was able create change and spread love & peace all world. Being unmarried, shy, quiet, tender hearted, or any quality like that does not make one a pedophile.
It is my belief that Michael Jackson had one of the kindest, gentle souls of any artist I can think of and was rightly cleared, not once, but twice of false charges. After reading this book, I can tell you that you too may realize that Michael Jackson was falsely accused and unjustly humiliated. I think he was truly something special and its an utter shame he had to die for people to realize it

I recommend this book as part of a twin set along with Aphrodite Jones's The Michael Jackson Conspiracy.

Miss Hughes was an insider who worked as a legal secretary for the lawyer who conspired with Evan Chandler, the true mastermind of the 1993 allegations. With a bird's eye view, she provides insight of what was going on. She explains the legal jargon. It is my belief that one of the reasons why a lot of people still believe the allegations it is due to the fact that in order to deconstruct the intricate web that Chandler and Rothman created, critical thinking skills must be used.

Do not be turned off by the religious references that Miss Hughes spreads throughout the book. It isn't much but I have read other people mentioning this. Michael was a spiritual person and I personally don't think he would have found the references problematic. The authors speaks from a place of compassion and not as a star struck fan.

If you are like me and have a gut instinct about the unprofessional and predatory way the media portrayed Michael, do yourself a favor and read this. It is about 170 pages.

If you are a true MJ fan you MUST READ THIS BOOK. Everyone needs to know what went on in that courtroom and this book provides an accurate account of the court proceedings and how the media convicted Michael Jackson before the jury for the trail was even selected.

I thought this book was good! It is written by the legal Secretary of the Attorney Mr. Rothman whom Evan Chandler hired to file a civil suit against Michael Jackson for alleged abuse of his son Jordan. The author does a good job of showing how Michael Jackson appears to have been the victim of unscrupulous individuals due to his overly kind nature and his desire to help needy children. There are discussions of the evidence that would have shown Michael Jackson was a victim of Extortion, and the failed attempts by Tom Sneddon the DA to produce valid evidence to indict Michael Jackson. The Author explains how the settlement with the Chandlers evolved against Micheal's wishes as well as the the Custody Battle between Evan Chandler and the Mother of Jordan. The author also discusses Micheal's extensive Humanitarian Efforts which the Media rarely presented to the public.

I loved this book I read it about 3 times,
it get's into the 1993 case.

The Author of this book was the Legal Secretary of the Lawyer Rothman {Evan Chandler and crew's lawyer}

She was there, and saw it was an Extortion scheme that basically lead to his early demise :( .

Another Highly recommend for every Michael Jackson fan/supporter.

As a lawyer, I ate this up. Tons of legal jargon used to tell the truth behind the Chandler allegations. Might leave you infuriated at Evan Chandler and his attorney, but Geraldine writes with such Christian grace that she assuages that anger (as much as possible). Shorter read. I do wonder how this didn’t get more press during MJ’s life.

What can I say about this book? Chock-full of factual data, first-hand recounts of some of the most controversial moments of Michael Jackson's life, and a play-by-play account of the workings of the infamous attorney Barry Rothman and Evan Chandler. For those who have done any amount of research, Michael Jackson's innocence in all of the allegations levied against him will be obvious. This book provides page after page of proof of his innocence from the perspective of Rothman's legal secretary. It is unimaginable why there are so many who continue to believe that Michael Jackson is guilty of any wrongdoing towards any child, but this book puts to rest these beliefs at the genesis of the allegations -- the 1993 Chandler case. I also had the privilege of meeting the author, and she signed my personal copy.
