Rate this book

A science thriller! Not my usual genre of reading. Stereotypical figures, a distant future full of unrealistic technology, and boring chases more geared to a movie than to a book.

Not so here - this book is set in a recognizable present, with very human figures acting in a number of well-known places of today's world. Quantum physics and cryptology play an important role, but their use remains sensible and realistic. The book can make one think about consequences of "pure" science, and the ambivalent attitude of scientists about their impact on the world.

Foremost however, it is high-class entertainment, and it's hard to resist the urge to read it all in one go. But it does not leave me with a sense of void and stolen time that fast reading of pure fantasy fiction often causes.

Highly recommended as a great read to anyone with at least some interest in science and the humans behind it. Martin Gfeller

This story is excellent! It really is terrific stuff. Hansjörg really knows what he's talking about in this first-class techno-thriller. Everything works well; it is extremely well put together. The whole idea is excellent and brilliantly thought out. The characters are great and all with their own individuality, and the descriptive is first-rate. I really can’t praise it enough. Mark Hooper
