(4.0) Great read! Being from Tuscaloosa, AL and growing up a big Alabama football fan helped me enjoy it a lot. The emphasis on mission stories in the beginning made me reminisce on my mission (to Utah where the author, Jeff Call, was one of my ward mission leaders) which helped me remember a real important time of my life. The cool connections for me made this book great. It is quite corny at times, but a feel good story about the importance of serving a mission and just being an overall good person!
I liked this book! It was different from what I usually read, so i wasn't sure if I would. I thought it would be all about football and I was glad that it was not. I love football I just don't want to read about it, and it was not over done. I found this book enjoyable.
This is a wonderful story about friendship and how each supported the other. I love true stories like this. It also shows how decisions can impact the rest of your life for better or for worse. In this case, it was for the better.
