I bought this book purely for its cover, it was a dollar and I was ooking for neat books to deconstruct. I thought beauty was a great topic to cover for an altered book. But as Ive been tearing and cutting and pasting it up Ive started reading it and learned a lot. Its given me a lot of perspective on society and women and goddess and beauty, with all its advantages and disadvantages. Im sad to be defacing this book but also glad I chose this one because I am adding what Im learning to the artwork I am creating inside of it.
